The vip area was the the righthand side of all the stages, so you were on the ground about the same distance away as if you stood next to the soundboard. (Alot of times there was plenty of room in front of vip.)

Im not saying that this festival wont be worth it (You get alot of other perks) but for firefly, it wasnt worth it...

I just noticed the facebook page says "28 performances, 3 stages, 1 weekend". Is it my imagination or did it used to say 28 artists? Wondering if Jay Z isn't performing both nights. Pollstar would indicate as much.

i would take jay-z opening for pearl jam on the 2nd night if it ment 1. that it didnt cut into time of pearl jams set and 2. maybe have pearl jam on before jay-z on his night


who knows but it being just a little over a month away i would have thought there would be alot more details floating around by now

and i was one of the ones telling people to be patient

I went to Firefly, too and after seeing how it was set up I was real glad I didn't get VIP. All that walking from the lot to the damn stages was so damn long though. Felt it could have been set up better but it was still a good time for the first shot there.

yeah they only cancelled a handful dates, so they should still be playing.

Yes, that walk was pretty far. I camped instead of comuting an hour each way, and I was glad I did that. I can't see them changing the layout next year. Yes, the walk over the bridge was long, and the walk to go all the way around from the Firefly stage to the Lawn stage made you miss part of 1 set... But those wre my only 2 complaints. Everything else was very organized.

TV on The Radio isn't the biggest act in the world, but big enough where you would think they would make a bigger deal about it.

When this was announced I booked 3 hotel rooms, because I didn't know the details. I will only be using one room, so if any one here is looking for a room I would happily change the name over, you would just need to give the hotel a credit card to hold it. wait until it is announced then scoop one up off of stub hub... thats what i am doing

Okay, I admit it, I am now losing patience waiting for this announcement. Its been over two months since tix went on sale. Just announce PJ will play both nights already .
