  • Hey, has anyone looked at the whole entire tour for these next months? Cause the way I read it, EV solo is the opening act for PJ at Florida and AlTL!

then you are not reading correctly.

And I just want to point out that United Way takes SOOOOO much off the top :x. Better than no charity at all, but they stink!

Seriously? Some days I think none of you will ever be happy with anything the band does short of playing a free show in everyone's backyard to solely benefit YOU. Let's let off the whole sell out thing for a bit, especially when there's a charity involved. Come on people are we that self centered around here? :?
Did you even read my post that you quoted? Or any of my other posts that show I'm excited for this festival and happy to be going? Don't quote me without due diligence.

Yeah I read you're post. Your statement was that the UW "takes so much off the top"...I know people that work for the UW and have a lot of personal involvement in it and IMO they take FAR less than other charities "off the top" to pay the people that are working to make money for the programs it supports. THAT'S what I was responding to.

Yeah, I watched a couple of his videos on youtube, cant' say I'm at all interested in seeing him live. I should give him more of a chance than two songs, but I was completely unimpressed.

I'm holding out hope that the Phase 2 announcement has at least one band that makes me say: "Awesome." when I hear they've been added.

WMMR was talking about Dave Grohl being in Philly a couple weeks ago. Was in Rittenhouse area. Just wondering.

With the concert being so close to where I will be living at the time, I feel like I have to go

But I only want a single day ticket cause I don't car for anyone else on the lineup...

Anyone know the best way to get into the city from NJ? I could drive but I was thinking a combination of public transportation mightwork better. Anyone got any good info on that?
