Don't let being broke necessarily stop you from going to a Pearl Jam concert. And by that I only mean if you're feeling like "maybe I shouldn't spend what money I do have on a rock concert" because a Pearl Jam concert is not just another rock concert wherever and whenever they are playing. Well worth my bottom dollar any day of the year.

It's just hard to pull the trigger on the whole thing because the only act I want to see- by a mile- is Pearl Jam. If it wasn't a whole multi day festival thing, I'd so be there!

I still have this strange feeling that PJ will play both nights, but it may just be wishful thinking.

    We can only hope!!!
Any suggestions from locals of where to stay? I should probably start booking all that

I see your point and I guess it's easy decision since I live right downtown Philly and I would imagine they will be doing a more full US tour next year. But the Art Museum is a special place for us Philly people and the boys sometimes have a special relationship when in Philly proper. Should be a special night(s). But I think I wold be going if it was downtown Boston or NYC.

Perhaps once they settle the date and time and may seem more manageable for you I hope. If I can be of any assistance, let me know, and I hope you and many other financially stressed, as we all are it seems, can find a way to the show; might be exactly what the doctor ordered in these difficult times.

:) I will be looking for tickets to the day(s) Pearl Jam is playing once the date is announced...

If they play both nights I will gladly buy from you. If PJ is only playing 1 night, then I would want that ticket, but understand if you want to sell as a pair...

How much did you pay for it?

Definitely will become more of a concrete decision whether to go or not when dates get sorted out and single day passes (if they are even gonna be a thing) are released. Then I can get a better handle on what it's all gonna cost me. Ideally, I'd like for a friend to come with me too, so there's that. Remains to be seen! Hopefully it is do-able :) Thanks for offering your help also, Marcos, very kind of you!

So, I think I am going to try to go the Made in America Festival. Flights out of Chicago arent too bad and I could use some Marriott points for hotels. Just wondering what type of set we will get. What Marriotts do locals suggest close to the site?

This sounds really cool, simply gonna be a fantastic day with good people from start to finish now.

This sounds awesome, thanks for organising! Hopefully I can convince the H-bomb (husband) to come along without too much of a fight. He's not a fan, although I'm guessing he will be after they blow his mind into a million happy pieces at this gig ;) I love a few drinks after a PJ concert . . . You're always so excited it's like you need to grab the night by the horns and give it a good shake! Hopefully I'll meet a few of you pj-loving-honeys at the festival and/or see you at The Irish Pol, and if I'm not pregnant by then I'll be taking full (and I mean FULL-ON) advantage of those happy-hour beers . . . So excited about seeing our boys!! (And about a holiday in the incredible US of A!) If anyone has any tips on how to get decent spots at the festival that would be very much appreciated :) See you there kids. CAN'T WAIT! :D

Yeah I am slightly inthe same boat...

Summer means working 40 hours a week and getting an awesome paycheck, but not seeing friends as much as I would like..

September means back to school, seeing all of my closest friends, enjoying learning, but not earning money while racking up alot of debt...

OK, New game to keep us occupied while we are waiting....

Guess what day 10club or Made In America will announce the specific date PJ Is playing.
(Whichever comes first, since they are both reliable and wouln't be just a rumor.)

    Winner gets 2 things:
1: The knowledge of what date Pearl Jam is playing.
2: 10 "Units of Pride" for being right! :geek:

    My guess: Monday, July 23rd
