Dude, you know it's most likely going to be Sunday. Change whatever plans you have and accept it.
this is correct man -switch your thinking to Sunday to avoid future disappointment ..... then if we are wrong you will be super excited instead

Or why not see PJ on Sunday and Bruce on Monday?? I'm sure you can rid of Sundays tix and grab some for the 2nd Bruce show.

This is what a person with common sense would do - what I'm going to do. Guaranteed there's close to face value - if not below - the day of the show on Stub Hub too.

A lot of Bruce and PJ fans are obsessive compulsive (not saying thats a bad thing) and probably want to catch both Bruce shows. First world problems .

I'm starting the rumor that Pearl Jam (and Jay Z) are both playing BOTH nights. Jay Z said he would headline the first night. Did he say anywhere that he wouldn't also play the second night (as opener)? Has anything shown up anywhere that disputes the possibility that Pearl Jam opens for Jay Z night one and Jay Z opens for Pearl Jam night 2?

Bruce is a must for Sunday...no matter what....can't say why
Pearl jam Sunday...is what it is, if it is that way...plus I know it will be a nightmare with this lousy venue(done it before)
But, if it is Sat...then I will give it a shot...
No Big Deal...seen them 10+ times since 1991..just always a good time and you'd hate to miss while in the tri-state area...
Plus...they will be back here within a year again anyway..it's Philly ( a 2nd home to this band, who else sells out four nights straight anymore...Bruce has tons of tixs for Monday yet!!!)
They may even play both nights? They may open for Jay-Z Sat? Who knows...love ya all

    oh well

gimme some truth will happen in time...things always work out, if you let it

Newark crowd was horrible! Even EV was putting his arms up in the air as if he couldnt understand why everyone wasn't into it. I'm blaming it on the weather and that not enough Philly folks were there!! That or those horrible, bootleg PJ Devils shirts they were selling around the venue...

LOVE the Irish Pol. It's a nice place to hang, great beers, great people, and excellent location. I go there when I'm out in the city, gotta support a bar that supports my band, right? And everyone gets along there, very harmonious place. Two thumbs up from this beer lover.

Yes, i am fully aware of that.

but it just doesn't feel right to post about MIA's management on a PJ board... So hopefully the 10club will see it's fans need some info, and request it, because they have the power.

I hope Passion Pit does not end up cancelling (from brooklynvegan.com):

"Some good news and some bad news. The bad first: Passion Pit recently expanded their tour to include a NYC show scheduled to happen on July 23 at Apollo Theater (which sold out immediately) three days after they were scheduled to play Firefly Music Fest in Delaware. Unfortunately, both of those dates, and many others have been cancelled. Frontman Michael Angelakos posted this message to the band's website:

    Hello all,

On behalf of the band and myself, I would like to greatly apologize for the show cancelations. In order for me to ensure that there will be no further disruptions, I am going to take the time to work on improving my mental health. For now, I'd like to thank all of our fans for their understanding. I hope to see all of you very soon in a much different light.

The tour page on our website currently reflects all upcoming tour dates.

    With love,
    Michael

Everything in July is affected, but the August and September dates, which include Lollapalooza, Osheaga, and Made in America in Philly, are still on. No word yet on ticket refunds for the Apollo show but check ticketmaster for updates. Bummer, but feel better soon Michael.

On the bright side, the band are streaming their sophomore LP, Gossamer, on NPR. If you've had any doubts about this album, whether it be a distaste for their mainstream attention (and thus, tween fanbase) a feeling of "people still listen to Passion Pit?" or "who cares? Passion Pit sucks! (but I secretly have 50+ plays for Manners on my iTunes)," then let it be known that Passion Pit have more than succeeded in following up their debut and Gossamer is definitely worth a listen. Check it out for yourself.

    Updated dates are listed below...

I still have this strange feeling that PJ will play both nights, but it may just be wishful thinking.

Uh-oh....I've been getting 'I should go to this' thoughts in my head! I mean, not a BAD thing but it's a lot of money for a broke college kid to drop!
