Nice! I actually got seats in one of the balcony boxes. Priced in the $85 tier. I didn’t think the price was bad to have a completely unobstructed view.
  • Didn't know Neil Young tiered up his tickets like that... Don't remembering that happening here in Sweden. But Maybe it's up to the promotore/venue...

Is this a show, or a festival?

  • Its a show in a small stadium ...Apparently the promoter was on Irish radio this morning to day this and Hyde park are the only Bob + Neil shows.

Where would be best to see them, Ireland or Hyde Park? Show-wise.

I would say Ireland because of the  much smaller venue.Kilkenny is a small city so atmosphere around should be good.
    But accommodation options are limited.

Right, so it's a trainride away from Dublin then. Hmm. Well, could be cool maybe. Will give it a thought.

It's only a small venue capacity wise. The place itself is quite large. It's a GAA pitch so the field is massive. It will be a huge GA area. Should you get bleacher seats at the end of the stadium you would be pretty far away.
Edit: But yes, still better than Hyde Park.

With no map layout how do you know what tickets you get.... Is there any GA for this venue?

The best accourding to the presale is:
    Section

    GRASF

    Row

    Z

    Seat

    1-2

    For 180 euro a ticket.

(Got a NYA subscription just to test this... haha.... Guess I can lend it to my dad who will have more fun in the archive than me)

  • Saw "pitch standing" now, I guess that's GA?

  • But now I have my NYA subscription if some swedish dates drop I guess.

Can anyone not planning on going to the Ireland show hook me up with a presale code? According to his website it is fine to give it away. It can only be used once.

Yeah, goldrush, real mixed feelings about this find and that last sentence. This is great news, but I read into it that any potential Mirrorball release is now postponed.

I can't wait!  I have the original vinyl release and it is one of my all-time favorite Neil Young and Crazy Horse albums (in fact, one of my favorite albums by anyone) but it's a little over an hour of music crammed onto one LP which makes for very thin grooves which weakened the sound.  If they press this one right, it will undoubtedly occasionally cause me some glorious suffering from temporarily increased tinnitus!

Plus the chance to hear all those extra tracks.  Awesome!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
