    Thought the same thing last night.  Guessing we find out today....all of the teases have been released at 10am central time so only a couple hours to go!

    I’m late to the game on why they broke up. So what was the reason?

    I don't think it was anything specific.  They were on a pretty aggressive new album/tour cycle every 2 years and they were all just burnt out I think.  Also, Brian was married to Alex's sister and they got divorced and then he wrote a whole album about it.....guessing that had to have created some tension in the band.

    For sure. And the reception of that album also was a problem. But it’s a good record!

    And they are back together as a band. Tour dates to come as well as a new album.

    Hello everyone, Brian here.  I hate to disappoint you, but I need to inform you 
    that there will not be a 10th anniversary Handwritten Tour, or a documentary film… However, I am very pleased to announce to you all that The Gaslight Anthem is returning to full time status as a band.  We’ll be announcing a lot of tour dates in the next couple of days.  We’re also beginning to write new songs for what will be our sixth LP. We’re very much looking forward to the future and seeing you all again.  We want to thank you for staying with us.  Stay tuned! - Brian, Ben, Alex, and Alex.
