    400 each combined while teammates. I can't even think of any two teamamtes in a similar situation. I mean even the biggest HR guys (Bonds, Ruth, Griffey, Arod,Mays etc. ) really didn't have an extended period with one player who hit a ton of HR's while teammates. Ifd this makes any sense. :? I mean maybe Griffey probably had more HR's as a teammate of Edgar's than he did with Arod.

    From my calculations it appears Mays and McCovey played together from 1959-1972. In that time Mays hit 430 HR's and McCovey hit 384.

    ie most weekends there are 16 games per day

    pitchers were on different teams......big gap..
