I don't have a trivia ?? but I'd like to know if anybody can answer this....

Baseball is ripped down to 3rd base and knocks the 3rd baseman's golve off his hand with the ball still in it. Lands on the infield with the ball still in it....now is the baserunner out or is he/she safe at first?

BTW this happened to me exactly but when my glove hit the ground the ball rolled out which solved that ???

    Peace

I thought so, thanks. That ball was hit so hard I had to back up a few steps just to pick up the ball off the hitters in a tourney years ago. The speed of those hits should have been something I was used to being a former hockey goalie.

Hockey goalie? Welcome to the 10c former hockey goalies club.
  • Ok I also have a weird baseball rule/questionm, lets say there's a ball hit to left field, the left fielder jumps up and catches it but then procedes to fall completely over the fence with the ball still in his possesion is it an out or a HR? I believe it's a HR but I'm not sure
I will be what i could be

It was that catcher for the padres if i'm not mistaken. First player ever to have his first 2 hits be HR's from both sides of the plate
