Hartford is the best bootleg I have when I'm in a live "Blue" mood. This is a great bootleg. I still feel guilty about bashing the show. it was solid.
The set list for the second night in Camden is just great. That bootleg flows nicely. I haven't been skipping over any songs. The first show is great as well...except for the prison-love-Last Kiss-sing-a-long. I don't like it. Ed's speech used up our Red Mosquito and Sad time.
I have already expressed my thoughts on the DC show...love it.
ER1 is OK but is not the first bootleg I'll be reaching for in the near future. If you want to hear Footsteps and Indifference, listen to the DC bootleg from 2000...seriously. I think Immortality is on that one too...It's not. Either is Footsteps. Sorry. Listen to Camden 2 for Footsteps and you'll Rival as a bonus....not to mention a great version of "Untitled" (where the hell is this one now?).
ER2 got fucked up and I'm disappointed. It is still a great bootleg though. I'm not as charged for Stoney's song as I thought I would be...I am mankind fan. it is a much better song and that is why it's on No Code and the other one is a b-side. I love the I Am Mine/Gone inclusion and they sound great. Meg Ryan sucks though. She never stood Once that snooty bitch. Rats makes me dance in my car like a ghetto woman with large hoop earing and curlers in my hair. I wish I had enough hair to put curlers in. Army Reserve sounded better in Camden. Inside job was better in Hartford. again, all of the "Blue" songs played in Hartford are incredible and the laser show was never matched at any of ther other shows I saw. Hartford is a fond memory now.
