Its ok to be critical, especially about shows I didnt get to go to, that way it makes me feel better about missing it!!

    Another observation:

I feel like I sold out last night. ;)

I was drinking perrier in a club box at a Pearl Jam show while a lawyer in a suit sat down next to where I was standing the entire show.

That said I had a great time and thanks again VW. Got 4 of my top 6 songs in the opening set.

i was under the impression that the person he was orig supposed to go with for that night backed out thus he is in the same situation we are in. i never said i 100% did not need a ticket. i was waiting to hear what your brother decided first.

its weird watching yourself on tape. we used to tape all of our games and then sit in the locker room and watch them the next day. VERY boring but at least it got us out of running!

How were your seats last night? I'm hanging in right now at work. Just wish I wouldn't have gotten caught in traffic and made the preset.

    I liked it Joe.

My crowd wasn't too active either...nobody stood up. I was right behind the wheelchairs.

OK, that was in poor taste. I am kidding of course.

In all seriousness, everyone around me was into it. It was VERY cool and very emotional. I consider myself lucky to have shared the evening with my group.

Both Mike and Ed showed the ladies in front special attention...actually anyone by me confined to a chair. It was very emotional and a sweet gesture. I loved it. I loved the show last night. Our seats were unreal. I was near the "handicap" section at Holmdel and it was so inspirational and touching then too. Sometimes life can hit you like a ton of bricks.

I pegged the Lowlight/MOTH combo, ask VW. I never saw Release coming...just awesome. Unemployable addition was very cool.

    Present Tense.

    19 song main set.

    2 hour drive was peanuts.

They allowed us to drop our posters off at our cars and come back in. The venue was great. The people were nice.

One couple made out during half of Masters of War. Is that a love song?
    They loved it...and each other.

Did i say yet that i loved the show last night.

    No comment on Betterman?

It was re-arranged with a piano intro by Boom...you people missed it.
I'm sure it was done to prepare for tonight.
I heard it played during the soundcheck and picked up on the piano right away.
This is something I was hoping for and actually commented about somewhere on here a while back.

    Loved it.

I got to talk with Sean which was great. We got there early and the whole evening was stress free.

I'm sorry i missed just about everybody last night.

    I am different when I'm not stressed...relaxed.

I loved last night. It was not standard.
Standard should not be used in the same sentence with Pearl Jam.

MC, I really, really liked the new arrangement on Betterman. It added a new dimension to the song and I think you're right about them using it for tonight.

What else was in the soundcheck?

I think that Ed's little speech before Fuckin Up was hysterical.

He wasn't that chatty last night and really hasn't been that much this tour except for the innocence project rant before Camden 1 or maybe I'm just remembering shows prior to this tour differently.

All we heard was Betterman, Red Mosquito, and Dirty Frank and then they booted us out.

:D Again, I'm joking...just Betterman. Only the 2nd time I was ever able to catch a soundcheck and I hear Betterman. I was happy it was re-arranged and it sounded so good each time we listened.

I agree about the crowd- they were a pretty quiet group. I couldn't see the first few rows, but it was definitely a tame crowd- the crowd was not as loud as Camden during Present Tense, thats for sure.

They were SITTING down half the show whoever had fanclub or close seats from Stone towards the aisle away from ED from the 3rd row to the back of the mini floor section. (VW, All4 and PhillyPJ can back me up).

I have never seen that before.

I have never seen that before.

And I was just reading a post in the GTF forum stating that DC's crowd was much better than both of Camden's.

I cant believe it but the crowd on the Camden 1 bootleg is much louder than Camden 2. Present Tense is unbelievable from that show!!

From the club level, you can see the entire floor.

There was very little movement of the crowd on the floor on the whole. It was a cool perspective to see a show though.

I just think its funny how people get into pissing matches after each show as to who's crowd was better. LOL, its almost as good as the "What shirt are you wearing to the concert" threads!
