even though scott weiland owes me $100 bucks i will say that core is my FAV stp album, its one of those that you can put on repeat and it never gets old!!!!
"I hear Fanch has a Pimp Cup and loves Kiss. I think that's all that really matters."
Damn people.... Popeye's is da shit.. never been to cheeseburger in paradise but not much of a Buffet fan and really don't care for theme restaurants. Just give me some good food and I'm happy. On the topic of cheeseburgers, fuddruckers has awesome cheeseburgers. And its just cool to say their name.
As for STP, I only ever bought Core and the vasoline single.. haven't seen the need to buy anything else. Not that none of the rest isn't good, just haven't felt the need to purchase it.
And today is shaping up to be a nice day in the city of brotherly love. Think I'll do some work around the house and yard with Binaural, some Bush (Sixteen Stone), CCR, Led Zep II, Fugees, and Smashing Pumpkins (Zero) playing in the CD player. The weather isn't that hot or sunny yet so Bob Marley will have to wait another week. Then hopefully relax with an ice cold adult beverage and a nice cigar and watch the cars drive by with the booming system.

I like John Denver and I'm not ashamed to say it...
There... it's out there. I feel so much better now.
I was listening to some John Denver on my way into work this morning and I think that some of his songs are really great. He seemed like a cool dude...his story is a sad one. Any guy that hung out with the muppets is OK in my book. I'd rather hang out with the muppets more than some of the people that I know.
So I was thinking that it would sound cool if Pearl Jam covered "Leaving on a Jet Plane" towards the end of one of there shows. It just seems to me that most of the people that post here on the board share like a long distance love affair with the band and a lot of John Denver's songs touch on the sorrow and heartbreak of relationships.
Anyway, I like some of his tunes. I thought that I'd try and spice up this exceedingly dull thread with something different this morning. It is sort of on the topic...maybe...a little. I mentioned "Leaving on a Jet Plane" and you all have been discussing airfare to Washington state.
"Goodbye Again" would be great towards the end of a Pearl Jam set as well.
I'm really excited for Camden, more so then any of the other shows I'm seeing. Long holiday weekends suit Pearl Jam concerts.
FANCH I also love Popeye's Chicken. My college roomate was from New Orleans and he turned me on to all kinds of great food. As a company policy, the fryer oil is changed on Wednesdays...once a week and on Wednesdays. Don't eat there on Tuesdays. This is the truth and comes from a reliable source. Food is good, the spicier the better.

JOHN DENVER ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
i feel like matt today...it took me an hour and 15 min to get to work, thing is, i live 8 miles away from my office
on the bright side, i got to listen to no code, more than once....
took me 20 minutes.. only 5 minutes more than usual
People still do not know how to drive on wet asphalt though... and it was an enjoyable evening watching the afformentioned judge/NE/ghettobanger-wannabes drive by my house and slam the front of their car into the ever growing hole in front of my house while enjoying an icy cold beer and a cigar. Unfortunately my fun will be short lived since the city is going to fill and fix the hole this week :(

5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.
I'm working at home today - it's a beautiful day out, and with gas being $3 a gallon, I'll just work at home for a few days. Go in maybe once or twice a week.
It's going to suck bad driving to Philly three times the week of Memorial Day - I can't even imagine what gas is going to be like then.

they closed a bunch of roads around here bc of flooding, i guess thats why traffic was so bad...
i was lucky enough to get gas this weekend w/o a problem, only paid 2.89 for it!!!!! everyone else was freaking out bc all the gas stations kept closing and running out of gas, stacey must have went ot 5 diff stations on sat and couldnt get any!
"I hear Fanch has a Pimp Cup and loves Kiss. I think that's all that really matters."
I really hate people complaining about gas prices.
I mean when you think about all that goes into digging for oil, transporting it, refining it, making it into fuel, and then transporting it really is amazing that people are mad it's like 3 dollars a gallon. It's not as easy as sticking a plastic bottle under a tap and charging people 1.39 for bottled water.
Would I love it to be .89 a gallon like it was a few years ago in South Jersey? Of course, I would. But I'm not going to cut back on driving because of gas prices and I'm not going to change my lifestyle or complain about it.

For some unknown reason, that song used to bring the house down on Tuesday nights at my old bar I bartended at in college. Now why a bunch of waspy and jappy kids mainly from Long Island and the NY Tri-state area would go nuts when the Acoustic Folk singer on Tuesday nights would play "Country Roads" is still beyond me.
(P.S. Sorry if the above statement was not politically correct, but I really hated the clientele at my old bar, but I really put on a good face and pretended to like them and made about 250 a night in tips from them.)

But the process was the same a few years ago.
They are high because:
1) international tension
2) China's 2 billion are driving more
3) We're getting hosed because they know that we'll keep buying regardless of cost. It's not a free market.
