Everyone should be a rockstar and hit the Gorge. It'll be the experience of a lifetime, and there's a big group going out there.

I'm 90% in. I have family on my father's side (his half-sister & her family) that I hardly know. It's a great opp. I will decide by Friday but most likely yeah. I just need a reason not to, to make me not go.

Listen to this man. If given the opportunity, why wouldn't a Pearl Jam fan choose to see Pearl Jam at their home base? We all saw those pictures of the venue. I don't get the hedging. If I was single...not even single, but without kids, I would do that show in a heartbeat. Go to the homeland...do it! Look at those frigging pictures!

Same here.. or maybe just wait for the public sale so I can put everything in perspective. Wanna hit cincy but makes more sense doing both pitt and cincy.. hmmm dilemmas.

Joe- I saw that flight too and was thinking the same thing... I'll book it right after I am positive I have tickets.

The purpose would be saving more money for my house. I just don't feel like there is anything special about seeing a show in Pittsburgh. Wow, I can't believe I'm thinking this way. Is this what maturing/growing up is like? :(

It's the image of me listening to the Flashdance soundtrack isn't it?

Just scratch that from your memory.

    Random Note about The Gorge:

Parking is FREE, however, you can't drink in the parking lot. They have beverage enforcement walking all over. I simply emptied a Starbucks cup out (with the intent of putting alcohol in it), and I had two guys come over and question me. They also sniffed the cup for any traces of alcohol!

So, to solve this problem, you can pay like $30 and park on private land that is right next to the venue, and you can drink and all that good stuff.

Well you're seeing a bunch of shows already, that's probably why.

Jen is up for The Gorge as well, I believe. Rose will live out there by then, so we'll see her. Alice (Purplechick) is also making the venture out. It will be a big group.

This thread has become the incubator for other shows! Impressive.
