I'm just excited to get spanked in Hartford. Or do I have to wait until Gorge where we can do it in a tent?

Will you two get a room already :D

and I do not believe the green tent will be making the trip to the Gorge. Hell the green tent might not make it out of the Philly area... :D

i dont think the gorge will be complete without the green tent, im sure it wont cost that much more to check it with the rest of your luggage and golf clubs...
or i could volunteer joe to bring it

i just checked and there is a walmart in between the airport and seattle, so we can buy a cooler there for the beer

this is the liquor store right near the hotel:

Good looking out.. I'm not bringing golf clubs and haven't really thought about bringing the tent... If Joe wants to come to my house and pick up the tent before he flys to Seattle he is more than welcome

As for walmart, they better sell them styrofoam coolers cause that's what I want.. and a couple of 50# bags of ice.

    Damn $40 for a throwaway??

And the tent is not making the trip. The oversized baggage fee is like $80 each way.

I continue to be impressed by your organizational skills. I mean, you even know Janet at the Seattle WalMart. However, isn't tailgating off-limits at The Gorge?

Does anyone have any thoughts on camping on the night of the show? This may be the WV in me coming out, but I think that'd be pretty cool. Me, Makul, and two other buddies did it in '03 at teh Noblesville IN show and it was killer to build a fire, listen to tunes, drink, see a show, etc. All under the stars.

I wonder if the City of Seattle is ready for my ghetto-talk. I'm gonna go up to some random Seattle hippie and say, "Whats a ***** gotz ta do ta dip his chocolate in a trick on a Saturday night?" and see what happens.

This has nothing to do with anything on this thread, but I just saw that Saved by the Bell will be on Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network starting April 17th. Now I can wake up and go to bed with visions of Kelly Kapowski. Thank you TBS and Cartoon Network.

I would love to camp out there, but it seems like a bit of trouble since were all leaving the day after the show.

    * Camping after the show, then being driving 3 hours back to the airport in the morning to catch a flight - nooooooo thanks.

    * Flying my camping gear across the country for one night seems like more of a hassle than anything. Renting gear really wouldnt work either since the flights weve seen leave early on Sunday.
  • chromiamchromiam Posts: 4,114
I wouldn't mind camping but for the reasons matt said, it doesn't seem reasonable. Plus you're not allowed to build fires or drink there, so that kills two of the better reasons for camping out.

Hmmm now I have to decide when I want to fly out. Any concenous (sp) on where everyone is staying??

Mike & Matt are right; camping will not work.

At minimum, I will be out there Fri-Sun. Most likely, I'll be there Wed-Sun. As far as where to stay, I don't care just as long as I'm where everyone is.
