The Gorge tickets went on sale to the public? There's no way, if we just bought pre-sales today! So I guess like Joe's saying, maybe Slimee is talking about lawn seats for the Tweeter?

haha yeah I was talking about Camden haha. I ordered mine almost a week after they went on sale...sadly I was in Florida when they announced Leg 1, and was still in Florida when they went on sale. I didn't even here about the concerts until like a week after they went on sale...I heard about it on Wednesday after they went on sale...and kept debating on whether to wait till it got close to the show to get seats, or just suck it up and buy lawn tickets...after like 2 days of debating I bought lawn seats....so are you guys tailgating the 28th too?

I just can't wait for this Summer/Tour to start. Damn this is gonna be great. I can't wait to see what Leg 3 has in store. I doubt I'll be doing any traveling outside of the tri-state area for anything after Gorge, but we'll prob get a 2nd show anyway, and that'll be good enough for me. I love this shit. I love the anticipation, the stress of getting tickets, the logistics in planning between work, friends, life and my wallet as well. I fucking love Pearl Jam and the people who don't get or understand why I NEED to see multiple shows in multiple states or countries just don't know what they are missing. I mean that whether it be PJ or their favorite band. Any dumbfuck can just go see a band at the closest venue, but what fun is that when you can take mini road trips to Albany or Hartford to start off, then hit the home and surrounding area shows, then hop a plane to see them with a mountainous backdrop inbetween another Leg that is still yet to be announced? I just can't wait, and especially (here comes the warm yet non-brokeback PJ fuzzy) that I've made some new and hopefully soon to be good friends (excluding TG) from here that share the same passion. Finally. I can only imagine what this will be like if more than a few of us end up on the same flights out as well. I can just never get enough of these guys. If I could go to every show I would.

Well I'm going to go out on a limb and say Leg 3 will be Europe so I think they won't be playing any more US shows until the fall or winter.

Sweet! I can't wait for this show!
I'm still disappointed about Vegas, but I already have to fly out there for a friend's wedding in June, so that kinda put the final ka-bosh on any chance on top of the starting at a new company. I couldn't imagine flying out there twice in a month's time, let alone having to fly out for Gorge on top of it later.

If there are 2 Gorge shows I am sure I will learn to Soon Forget (tacky, I know) Vegas.

Nice...I see you got tickets too!!!! :D

I'm thinking right now I'm flying out to the Gorge on 7/20 and flying back on 7/24. That way I can catch a Sox game, hit the concert, be prepared if there is a second show and tour around Seattle.

I was thinking the same thing.. not necessarily for the Sox but just to be in town on Friday. Think I'll fly out early friday morning though and come back monday afternoon or so. Figure a 6 or 8AM flight can't be that bad :D

Honestly if the Sox weren't playing there that weekend, I would have hit up Vegas and San Diego instead.

    Off the subject...

I emailed the flag image this morning to Humphry's and it should take about 1 1/2 weeks to complete. It will look good...Black,Red,Yellow. If you want a Gorge flag you are on your own fuckers. I am a bitter and jealous man.

    I'm not really bitter.

    I am jealous.

You should have an unbelievable time.

I guess at this point no one will be able to afford to meet up prior to any of the 1st leg shows. Julie after your credit card bill comes in you might have to start drinking IceHouse.

I thought we were meeting May 5th at the 5 Against 1 show?

Honestly if the Sox weren't playing there that weekend, I would have hit up Vegas and San Diego instead.

Now that's loyalty... I don't want to fly out on 7/20 just for the fact that it will be another vacation day used. I'd like to save a few just in case I have the urge to do anything other than see PJ tour this summer :D

I could be up for a meetup, just depends when and where. And MC let me know if you need anything for the flag.

I'm sure someone will know the bar offhand, but I'll need to look it up. I'll post it later tonight if no one else does.

Alright, I posted this in AET and got zero response. Apparently no one goes there much anymore. Anyway, I notice a lot of Red Sox talk in this thread so here goes:

I am traveling to Boston the first week of September on business and plan on going to a Red Sox game (9/6 vs. White Sox). I am looking at the available single tickets and the only ones out there are:

Pavillion Box (Section PB02, Row E, Seat 11 - $90 - Ouch! And kind of high up.)
    Infield Grandstand (Section G25, Row 2, Seat 1 - Obstructed - $45)
    Bleacher (Section L41A, Row 9, Seat 14 - $23)

People that have been to Fenway before, which would you take? I am leaning toward that Infield Grandstand for $45, even though it says 'obstructed'.

Oh, and Pearl Jam rules BTW. Just thought I would add that. This is the Porch after all! :)

I wish I could help you out, but I've only ever sat in the Field Boxes and Loge boxes. I usually get good tickets through the Red Sox fan club that theo started up. I can't speak from experience but how bad can row 2 with an aisle seat be for the Infield Grandstand. I think section 25 is right over the visiting dugout so you should have a great view.

Thanks. I was just wondering about that 'obstructed' label. I don't want to sit there with a big support pole in front of me the whole time.
