And Julie taking Schilldog in the 10th round may have been the steal of my fantasy draft.

I'll be hitting my first two Phils games of the year next week. Gotta love being able to buy seats 6 rows from the field because the city has given up on the team already and tons of great tickets are available.

Can't wait to get my J-roll beanie:

Also those 250 flights are gone now for Seattle.

    Speaking of airfare......

I just saw my airfare from Baltimore to Buffalo (for the Toronto shows) went on sale, and Southwest let me change my itinerary for free. So I'm now paying only $97 ROUNDTRIP and I have a $20 credit now :D

If only they would give me some cheap airfare to Seattle...

I decided like two weeks ago to go to Toronto since all I had to buy was airfare and a ticket to each show. $200 for roundtrip airfare and two shows (free place to stay and ride to and from airport) - you can't beat that :)

Actually Southwest has one, 10 or more people is a group. Here is the info, I can look into it if you guys want?

What is the Southwest Airlines Group Program?
Southwest Airlines Group Program provides discount airfare for groups of 10 or more people traveling on the same itinerary. Our regular fares are always affordable, and most groups will qualify for an even better rate.

    Other benefits include:

Name changes up to 48 hours before departure.
Group itineraries and individual names printed on tickets.
For every 40 people who travel on Southwest Airlines as part of your group, you will earn one free ticket eligible for use on your group's itinerary.

Who can use the Southwest Airlines Group Program?
Anyone who has 10 or more people traveling on the same itinerary may use the Southwest Airlines Group Program. This program is ideal for church groups, school field trips, athletic events, or even family reunions. Anytime 10 or more people are traveling together on the same itinerary they will be eligible for the Group Program.

How do I utilize the Southwest Airlines Group Program?
To use the Southwest Airlines Group Program, call 1-800-433-5368, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, Central Time.

Our Group Reservation Agents will provide you with thorough instructions for your group to help ensure a successful trip.
Deposits are required for groups booked 60 or more days before travel. Your deposit will go toward your Group Ticket purchase (no credit cards for deposits, please).
The final payment for Group Tickets may be made with a major credit card, cashier's check, or travel agency check. Payment must be made with a single payment method.
To pay by credit card, download the Letter of Authorization in PDF format*. Print out and complete the form and fax it to 214-792-4793 on or before the final due date.

    direct flights are WAY exp!!!!

it looks like our options are to either fly out and back early in the morn, or fly out and back late at night, the only prob with that is on the trip back bc of the time diff you get in at like 2am or something like that...yuck

If the fuckers would just go ahead and announce more shows or atleast confirm how many at each venue up front then we wouldn't have to dick around waiting to get our flights reserved and lose more cash along the way. What the hell is with all the pissing around as far as adding shows. Make a decisive schedule and put it out there.

American Airlines will give a discount on groups of 10 or more. I'm leaving in a minute, but if someone wants to call and find out what it would run us, that would be cool - if not, I'll do it tomorrow.

From family reunions to religious pilgrimages and sport team groups, AmericanAirlines Group & Meeting TravelSM offers various discounts when 10 or more travel together to the same destination. In addition to those discounts, we provide special savings on Avis® rental cars.

A request for group travel fares may be submitted online or you may contact the Group & Meeting Travel Desk at 1-800-221-2255.

    Low Group Fares
Groups traveling to any American Airlines destination can secure a low-rate fare and may block space, up to 11 months in advance, when traveling together on American Airlines to the same city. We provide additional flexibility to these groups by offering the following features with your guaranteed fare:

Names and ticketing 30 days prior to departure (ticketing dates vary by destination)

    One name change per ticket

    Saturday-night stay not required

    Discount Air Fares
Even when you're not traveling together, your group can receive 5% off applicable published air fares when 10 or more travel to the same city. These discounts are available for travel worldwide. Discounts do not apply to certain restricted fares and excluded sale fare inventories.

i just checked southwest and they only flights avail on those dates are over $600 bucks, i dont know if a group "discount" would even be significant at this point...

airtran has a few flights left out there for about $350ish...

i think our best bet is to keep checking cheapair and kayak...

I'm still flying out probably on Thursday and flying back on Monday. I want to spend a day or two checking out Seattle and don't want to be rushed after having to adjust to the time zones and then having to fly back right away.

I also have a ton of vacation time (36 days as of July 1st) so I might as well use some.
