Gotten into to trouble here before about this ...the teacher with the rant on facebook

I will answer honestly ... yes I will defend someone's right to believe what they choose.
That is their opinion, these their core beliefs.
I will do my best not to judge or dislike them because we do not agree
but I may try to persuade ;)

    Disclaimer... just in case
we can exclude pedophiles, murderers, etc .... in case someone is going there.
I think one should get my message here.

point ... I'm not judging others who believe he is not a natural born citizen and assuming
they are racists ... that really got me going! ...
defending the right to the basic freedom of belief without harassment and labeling.

Look at the assumptions made at my posts ...

uhhh ... read what you wrote ... you said

this means that you consider yourself a birther ... plain and simple ... if you want to say that you are not - then say so and we will move on ... but to deny that you linked yourself with them is patently false ... this whole "i'm protecting one's right to their belief" is disingenuous to say the least ... at no point in this thread do you accept that obama is born in the US ...
How do you come to the fact I say I am a birther... I am pointing out to that poster
that IF ... I was ie might be he is then lumping me with others and generalizing
    calling me a racist.

It was a point to get him to see how incredibly wrong that is.
Because I'm pretty sure people know I am not a racist

and no I do not consider myself a birther... I know nothing on the subject
but I defend the right of others to believe without derogatory name calling and labeling

the conclusion that was being drawn there by that poster I could not support
and had to speak out. To me it was an incredibly prejudice statement and conclusion
of a group of people.... and it was unfounded.

really? ... so, instead of just saying ... you shouldn't generalize and lump all birthers as racists ... you choose to hypothesize that you might be one ... then proceed to defend the virtues of said movement despite the fact its grounded in pure myth ... and now say you know nothing on the subject but yet spend time on this thread talking about the implications of a false birth certificate ...

    You know what ...
it is an important purple problem if he is not natural born citizen
and is the President of the United States of America.

I would feel this way whatever party he was in.

It would be a huge sign of trickery and dishonesty on whatever level brought him to be in office.
    It would be bogus!

    No, on this page.

I feel not skeptical I feel it would be a huge problem ... massively huge ...
the hugest ... this no matter which President past present or future.
This the only feeling I have about it. I recognize what it would mean....
    and it wouldn't be good.

absolutely amazing that we can not agree that the bumper sticker is inappropriate, racist, and is the work of a racist, and the people that rock that sticker are racist...

Yeah no doubt it really is amazing it is a total racist sticker , and this president has been treated with total racism since day 1 and you have to point a finger at the GOP for at least not stepping up and declaring shit like this to be totally out of line .........Fucking racism alive & well in the good old USA .....

you can laugh but yes ... I really feel it you know

    really feel it

I didn't spend anytime on anything other than the fact that birthers were assumed to be racists
that is wrong ... wrong enough to defend.

Never defended what a birther believes only their right to believe without

Apart from the blatant racism, it's also stupid.

To renege (AKA to go back on or change a deal) would be to vote Republican, to not renege would be to vote for Obama again.

    Blatant racism often is. ;)

    Pandora,

Since you claim you "know nothing about the topic" but are ready to defend the birther movement, have you had a chance to read what polaris & I posted? Maybe then you can be better informed and perhaps no longer indulge these wild-eyed conspiracy theories. ;)

    Not exactly a glowing review.

Why is this thread allowed on here anyway? Positng a racist bumper sticker is OK if you call it racist?

yet time and again on this thread you've called ppl of differing political ideologies racist...despite that being ridiculous and insulting.

you've continued in some twisted circlular way to still uphold that when it's obvious you don't have any idea what you're saying anymore. the only points you've gotten across is that you contridict yourself so much no one believes what you say

i don't think you or anyone on this board is a racist. you simply want to argue yourself into circles in order to stir shit. spin yourself into a blur since you must have the last word...

You say you have "no idea, no opinion" but you are implying there is some validity in the birther argument. Why? Have you ever questioned the validity of a presidents birth certificate before? If not then why Obama?

choosing to live in ignorance or denial is not really any way to live. but considering the fact that once you do announce to all here that yes you believe president obama wasnt born in the USA(if that is in fact a belief you hold) youll be jumped on from a great height, i understand your vagueness.

personally and understandably i couldnt give a shit where obama was born.

I agree too, if he was not our government WILL NEVER TELL. If this country can mostly get back to working I don't think many others will give a shit either.
