awesome! i do stuff like this myself with some shows & the studio outtakes. i need to figure out how to get better quality art, though. i've done this with all of the b-sides & outtakes. downloading as i type. can't wait until it finishes. this has always been my favorite tour, along with 1995. thanks again!

btw if you have any old bootlegs that are still wrapped, you may want to open them. i had several discs that were still sealed and found when i opened them they had some kind of oil spots on them. i was able to get the oil off but i'm not sure if it would have effected the discs if i had not opened them.
Had the very same issue with some official 2003 boots. Had about a dozen still sealed and opened a couple to play them and there was a greasey film on the playing surface of the disc.
Unwrap your boots!

This is SO awesome, would you take donations for the set, like in the pics provided? Looks like you have some labels, CD artwork... I would throw you a decent donation to send me all that stuff(can burn discs mysel)

That does look incredibly amazing - putting the set list together, designing the labels for the covers AND discs? Looks like you've got too much time on your hands!
You'd think so but this has actually taken me over a year to complete, I just spent an hour or two here or there whenever I got a chance. By not rushing it I think I was able to make better decisions on song selections - I hope it shows!
The artwork looks fantastic, but I could use some advice on sticker printing from anyone out there. Paper types, best type of printer to use. I've found a good, affordable UK source for chipboard covers, but I don't have much faith in the lifespan of my decals! I don't worry too much about the disc artwork as I use Verbatim Vinyl CD-R's to make them look like mini Vinyl LP's.
Avery are a good brand, but any large stationary store should sell quality A4 size labels (and disc labels too). The artwork jpegs will be sized correctly so all you have to do is print them (best results on a colour lazer printer such as those at Kinkos/Staples/Office Depot/Officeworks/etc), cut them out (I recommend using a guillotine to get perfect straight edges) and then stick them on. My tip is to peel the front back past the spine and stick the spine on first to make sure it's placed correctly, and then have the chipboard open at a 90 degree angle while sticking down the front and back part of the label (this minimises bubbling/warping when you later open and close the chipboard cover).

This is just the sort of thing I've been looking for. Lately I've been ripping complete shows from the 2000 tour based on covers/improvs/known good versions of songs but then struggling to get through the show from end to end. I really needed a fresh take on this tour.

What's your uk source for the chipboard covers
I recently purchased 30 cases for about 12 quid from Eco-Craft.
They sell them flat packed in packs of ten, so you need a decent adhesive as well. I tried 3 different shades, Smooth White, Hairy Manilla ans Eco Natural and I'm pretty happy with all three colours.
In terms of size they are the same as the official 2003 bootlegs, so a bit smaller than the 2000 boots.

A note to those who are not familiar with RAR archive files:
- 'RAR' stands for Roshal Archive, it is a data compression archive system similar to zip folders, with the added advantage that they can be broken into smaller pieces and then 'extracted' back together (as is necessary when using mediafire as the maximum file size is 200mb)
- You must download all .rar parts of a show before extracting.
- Ensure that all parts are saved in the same folder on your computer, and that they are the same size as shown on mediafire - this is the source of most extraction errors, as occasionally a download from mediafire can be 'cut off' before the full file is downloaded.
- You need either winrar or 7-zip for extraction (both programs are free to download). I'm told RAR Expander is a good alternative program for Mac users.
- Simply open the 'part1' rar file with one of these programs, click 'extract to' and select a location to save the extracted files.

And I don't mean anything negative..
But I'm so bootleg obsessed, I have source references taped to my LO2L cd.
I can't listen to a boot comfortably without having the source listed in front of me.
Any chance there is one for this collection that us OCD bootleg collectors can attach with our firm promise not to post or discuss on this forum???
Pm if you'd like?
And thanks for all the hard work!
