Question is... late summer or fall for PJ US dates? I'm hoping like Sept/Oct, but who knows with the Europe tour plus rumors of EV solo in Europe afterwards.
I am hearing that they will be at the Wells Fargo Arena late summer.
that is all
Bring it on!

If they are going to come to Iowa they might as well come to The Quad Cities River Bandits baseball stadium and then kick off a baseball stadium tour.
If they're playing Des Moines and Quad Cities they better stop in Iowa City too. I have an elevated garden bed in the backyard that can be turned into a stage. Complementary home brew for 10c members with ticket purchase.

Coming from a former Iowan.....while I sorely doubt this is true, it would be nice to Iowa to get some love. I would like it as well as I only live 5 1/2 hours from Des Moines now.

Ray, people will come Ray. They'll come to Iowa for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up your driveway not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at your door as innocent as children, longing for the past. Of course, we won't mind if you look around, you'll say. It's only $20 per person. They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack. And they'll walk out to the bleachers; sit in shirtsleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere along one of the baselines, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come Ray. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come

ANYTHING midwest, but Iowa would be the s&*t...especially a 4-day, "Spectrum-esque" full catalogue blast in the middle of a huge open field (I know, I know, this was kinda already called 'Alpine'). Just sayin'.
We have been to several concerts at Wells Fargo though and there's not a bad seat in the house. It's a fairly new venue, outside of the Lollapalooza no-show radius, and centrally located at the intersect of major US interstates. Acoustics were noticeably great for NIN in '07 and Coldplay in '09...not to mention DSM metro is full of cheap places to stay.

Pj would never play there..and so would I.
Although the perfect way to do it... two nights @ Alpine and one in Chicago. 3 shows, 4 days... happy times.

That place is fucking terrible. I'd much rather drive to Alpine or Deer Creek to see a show than go there.
