    Nice to see a lot of Blind Melon love.

    Honestly, I got their debut album through a mass BMG order of CD's back in '93/'94. Out of all the crap I bought, that one really stood out.

    Their follow-up, Soup, was just as good, if not better, than that first record.

    Still remember the day Shannon passed...I was a freshman in college. 17 years ago.

    Only 10 years together as a band and a huge and varied output in that time. Imagine if they had been together for 10 more...

    ABBA. Apparently at least the last album was rushed out by management and record company. If they had been given the time they needed for recording and stuff they would probably had stayed together longer.

    Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm happy with their output, phenomenal really, but I'm sure they would have cranked out a few more classic albums had they been around a little longer. !0 years is not a long career really...
