Love that song Stars still, though I wasn't aware of any other songs, they had a good LP?

white stripes! God, I hope we get a Jack white solo show soon here. Think that's the only chance I'll get to maybe hear some white stripes stuff.

I think Jack White is coming out with his solo album in April.

Jimi Hendrix career was WAY TO SHORT. Oh what could've been??

"You'd Prefer An Astronaut?", the album that has "Stars", is really good. The next album "Downward Is Heavenward" is outstanding, one of my favorite albums.

I could definitely do with another album or 2 from the Big Pink/ST lineup of The Band

That lineup was the same until Robbie Robertson left, they never really changed that I can remember, they are one of my favorite groups of all time.

    UFO (Original Lineup)
    Roxy Music (with Brian Eno)
Yes (The lineup with Bill Bruford)
Genesis (with Peter Gabriel, before they became sucky)
    Cream
    Buddy Holly
    Otis Redding
    Jim Croce
    Janis Joplin
    Sam Cooke
Grand Funk Railroad (They were huge and just kind of fizzled out)

I know some of these aren't bands so I cheated.

  • Is this the thread for truly too short careers or bands we individually wish continued so other people would have the chance to hear how cool we are? I'm thinking the latter so Zebra....... I will give a donut t first one who can name the last song on Zebra Live. If you have not heard them you've never listned to Fugazai or nocturnal emissions....

Edit:  yes you have! I meant the opposite. If you're listen to that crap you have no idea who's behind the door.

I have an 80's "Metal" CD that my friend gave me and for some reason the last song on it is Who's Behind the Door, I always think, why is this on a "Metal" CD and what the hell ever happened to Zebra. Or hell I used to love Triumph back in the day and they kind of just faded out....

Don't think anyone would ever mention the band LINCOLN

But man, the one album they created was great.

If you get a chance, or if you can find it, I'd highly suggest checking it out

    http://www.amazon.com/Lincoln/dp/B0000057C7

I saw them open for They Might Be Giants in 1998 or 1999 in Milwaukee and they were incredible.
