Trying to keep this as PG as I can. I guess I have a leaking issue. :?
I was in a taxi which was a van and I was in the backseat. I told the driver I needed to stop to relieve myself and he wanted no part of it...just kept saying one more minute. So...I took a leak in my cup and left it in the backseat cupholder. Really hope no one drank it thinking it was warm beer.

It's so true! We were talking about it at one point and realized it's kind of the forgotten city. Maybe that's why it's so great? Also, I've never seen so many 3-legged dogs in my life!

I think it's the people...everything is so free and wild...Las Vegas is to 'strict'...fun, but so strict. In NO, I saw guys AND girls flashing their bits. The cops are nice about people who are getting a little out of hand, but in Las Vegas, they don't care...it's like "that's it buddy, you're out"

YES!! I think you're exactly right!! Way more laid back there. Some of the people I saw stumbling around and doing crazy shit this weekend would have been thrown into a paddywagon right away in Vegas.
DS I'm confident you would agree if you ever go!

I was there last Thursday to Saturday.
Was in meetings most of the time. Played poker for about 30 minutes (all the time I had) and made $20. Woohoo!
Got a buddy's bachelor party there in April. THAT should be much more fun!

I love New Orleans and have been lots of times. That is where I had my bachelor party as well....ouch!
One point that swings back to Las Vegas in this debate (if there is one) is that you are about 90% less likely to be shot in the face in Vegas. You wander outside of a very small area in N.O. and it gets shady, quickly.
A point back to N.O. is that Louisiana has a shit-ton to do outside of N.O. -- the fishing alone is amazing. Outside of Vegas there is nothing in surrounding area to really do.
A trip to Vegas a couple years ago we went with about 10 people and wanted to go outside the strip, found the Silverton Casino, and proceeded to play Pai Gow until 8 the next morning...whoops!
Did you Candlepin Bowl inside the trailer at The Hideaway Bar?

It's basically bowling with a softball sized wooden ball and smaller pins. For about a 2 year period we spent damn near every Friday night hammered at the Silverton bowling in that thing. We found a trick to the machine so that we could bowl for free for hours. Too bad Darius Rucker bought into the Silverton and basically turned it into the Hootie and the Blowfish casino. That place used to be awesome!

yes, i relalize it's not in vegas
They would eat you alive 81
No need for bunny ranch..spa usa..short ride off the strip.........so I hear. All locals and cabies know this joint although it changes names about once every six months.
Im actually in vegas now..well in henderson with my dad who's not doing so well.
Was with my wife and we thought we would go see Sheryl Crow at Cesars. Didnt have tix but ended up running into some older dude with a girl on each arm probably escorts (no this isnt leading into some crazy orgy shit) who also had 2 extra tix. He gave us 2 free front row tix and vip status. Show was great and we ended up getting backstage which was Crows trailer in the back lot. Talked to her for like 20 min. The guy was some industry dude who used to be a writer for RIP Magazine and she new him by first name. Think it used to be an old metal mag back in the day. After the show this guy was like.."Do you guys smoke weed?" I was like yup..Still remember this bud to this day..The finest cally kind bud from humbolt co. that tasted great. We hotboxed it in his BMW in the parking garage. Then we went to the spy bar for many drinks.
The two escorts..not sure what happened to them. They disappeared during the show.
flew to vegas last feb to meet a girl i met on the internet :?
cut my trip short bc my ex-gf wanted to reconcile and flew back two days early. lost more money on plane tickets than i did at the tables.
that really worked out well

Oh!!! I think I've done this before when I was just outside of Boston many moons ago. I thought it was only a New England thing, have to check it out the next time I'm there.
Hootie and the Blowfish....gotta say though it's my favorite place to play Craps!

I do this...
Thought about you when I was drinking this Sat night:
And when I see those this is usually what happens...
Then this...
I guess that's one reason why Vegas is better - in NOLA there's cobblestone streets everywhere...makes my faceplanting problem increase tenfold!
