I think you have all the essentials covered. Except for hookers and blow, like 81 mentioned. I think the itinerary for my bachelor party in Sept will look similar...except shooting automatic weapons. I don't think that would be a good idea to do at any point of the trip since I'll eaither be drunk, halfway drunk or miserably hungover.
I think we're planning on miserably hungover for that adventure.
I've got one week left until my buddy's bachelor party in Vegas. Any last-minute tips? Two of us have each been there once, while another went as a child.
Here's some things we're hoping to do:
-get wasted
-get limo and get wasted therein
-eat well
-drink well
-shoot automatic weapons (sober)
-pool party? (advice on this aspect, please. We've only researched one place thus far)
-drink excessively
-gamble (responsibly )
as well as the standard bachelor party fare of strip clubs.
The buffet at the Bellagio. I can not stress enough how good the food is.

Sounds about right! I was there two weekend's ago for a buddy's bachelor party. Had a great time. Felt like absolute death on Sunday.
We did the pool thing on Saturday afternoon. I despise public pools and won't get in one, but I hung out and checked out the...sites!

We all met as lifeguards when we were younger, so naturally we despise public pools, but we hear the sights are something to be seen. What pool did you check out?

You're going to have a great time!! Wet Republic at MGM is pretty awesome for a pool party and DO NOT MISS Fat Tuesday's - get the 190 octane with the extra shot, you will thank me later
O'Shea's has beer pong in the back if you're into that, but get there a little early so you don't have to wait to get a table. They also have $1 Craps, which works well for responsible gambling

That's one thing I'm insistent upon, thankfully the friend who's been before is backing me up on that buffet.
My mouth seriously begins to water just when I mention it there. Earlier in the thread I posted about a sweet pizzeria I stumbled on as well if you're looking for something quick. It's in the concourse below the MGM that connects the casino to the monorail. What type of gambling are you looking at doing?

O'Shea's is closing down....or remodeling.
When we were there two weekends ago, they were having a big "closing party". Handing out free shots all over the place!
The beer pong thing is DISGUSTING. It's bad enough playing it in a clean place with your friends, but to play it in Vegas? Sick! Those balls hit the floor and go rolling all over the place! Dipping it in a glass of water cannot help!

I hit up a few of the previous pages and saw a pic of that pizzeria, looks good. Kind of makes me regret not trying last time I went to Vegas and stayed at the MGM. I must have walked right past it.
As for gambling, I'm probably going to focus most of my efforts (read: money), on craps, blackjack, pai-gow and the occasional penny slots. Last time I went I made back all of my money on the last day playing craps, so I'm hoping it's my good luck game still.

The Excalibur does the beer pong thing I believe if you're interested but I'm with MCA here. I don't need dirty balls bouncing in my beer.

WHOA. That news just shook my world to the core.
I agree about the beer pong, but some people don't seem to care!

True that!
The Excalibur has gotten so bad of late. I walked through it a couple months ago while on my way somewhere else...
Clearly, if you live in New Jersey, you have to stay in the Excalibur. Oh, and if you're a dude...dont' forget the gold chain!

I read a few weeks ago that O'Shea's is closing. So sad. Great place to play some cheap blackjack and they had pretty cheap beers. AND they had a burger king. First time we were in Vegas when we were all 21, I'm pretty sure we ate burger king for dinner 3 nights in a row.
Didn't go for the beer pong...like you said, that whole area back there was disgusting.

That picture of the pizzeria I took at 3:00 in the morning trashed and my plane back for Smalbany was leaving at 6:55. Pai Gow at the Imperial Palcae is a blast. Actually, any gambling you do there is a blast. They just make you want to have fun. I've found to control your gaming losses gamble at the smaller casinos or go to the larger ones but in off peak hours. I mean on a Saturday night at the MGM you would be hard pressed to find a BJ table with a table minimum under ten if not 15. Where are you staying?
We'll be staying at Treasure Island.
We're also looking for a good steak place for a manly meal of red meat. Suggestions?
Joe's Stone Crab is in Ceasar's I believe. Don't let the name fool you...while they have great seafood, the steaks are outstanding as well. I've eaten at the one in Vegas and the one in Chicago a couple times....some of the best meals I have ever had.

I had a good steak at New York New York and this is going to sound disgusting but there's a good place in Circus Circus...seriously. It was less expensive and was very good.
At any of the strip casinos I don't think your going to do yourself a disservice.
I had a great steak dinner at one of the places in the MGM, I can't remember the name, but it was probably the second best I've ever had. I want to try a different place this time around, though it will remain a solid backup if needed.

gallagher's isn't bad
we went to the steak place in harrah's (looks like it has a new name since we were there)...but oh my gosh, one of the best steaks i've ever had. thing just melted in my mouth.

This girl knows what she is talking about!
And always get the extra shot! Best dollar you'll spend in Vegas that doesn't get tucked into a g-string!

There's a steakhouse in the Flamingo that we ate at. I don't eat meat, but everyone there said it was the best steak they've ever had!

Can beat getting booze poured into your face from a little guy!
This guy wasn't doing so hot and had to get hauled off by EMTs! Go Vegas!
Now I'm just plain pissed that I can't experience O'Sheas!

You have no idea how many times I have run from the tables at the Imperial Palace to grab a quick to go burger from here.
