Never used this before but there are a bunch of recent RHCP shows if anyone is interested. You can sample before purchasing: http://www.livedownloads.com/0

I was wondering if anyone knows the cost of their t's and stuff at the concert?Seems like tshirts were around $35-45. There was this one awesome blue jacket for $85. Prices were pretty standard.
Thanks, I had a blast! I got the black girl's shirt with the pink and gray chili pepper * thingy on it ($35 is right). They actually had kids shirts, but were sold out of the Memphis one, so we waited. As far as the show goes, I thought it was great. I was really scared after reading negative stuff on here. I would suggest catching them if you have never seen them. I do not think I would follow them like PJ, but if they come back to Memphis I will go again. I thought Anthony did a great job up front, but I was probably most impressed with Flea. He was AMAZING! I was also very impressed with his on-stage persona. He was very entertaining, interactive, and gracious when he gave Memphis a very "heart felt" sounding thank you at the end of the show. It was something that I am very happy to say I did, RHCP made up a large portion of my life in the 90s and early 00s, so it was cool getting to hear those songs that I rode around town listening to in my car as a teenager being performed live. Here is the setlist from last night's show: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/red-hot-c ... e7d2b.html
I think we got a great setlist.Hearts and thoughts they fade....
fade away...
I am at peace with my lust.....for Eddie.0 -

I think we got a great setlist. And I got that same shirt! I love it. I agree about following them/not like PJ, but they are definitely worth seeing when they come around!! And you DID have an awesome setlist!!!!!!!!!! wow. I would have loved to have heard BSSM. (but no Scar Tissue.. wth!
) Flea, and all of them really, were great. Glad you had a great time! (told you not to worry.

I saw this tour in Calgary,
+ John Frusciante melted faces
from floor to rafters.
That is the only time I have ever seen them live,
so that's the only take I have on the experience.

I saw them in Louisville earlier this month (right before they played Bonnaroo), and really enjoyed the show. Not sure what I think of Josh Klinghoffer's guitar work (some was great, some he seemed afraid to tackle Frusciante's earlier solos and just snuck by on feedback and effects).
One thing--I hadn't seen them since 2000, and I can't really recall if this was the case back then, but at this year's show, Flea did all the talking, and Anthony did nothing but sing and say maybe a "Thank you very much." Flea handled everything else, patter-wise. Comments about the city and arena, band member introductions, "we wrote this song when..." bits, everything. Is that a new development, or am I crazy? For some reason (I generally have great recall when it comes to concerts), I can't remember if Flea or Anthony took the lead on that stuff at the two shows I saw in 2000 (when they toured with Foo Fighters).0
