    spoke a lady at work with the last name of "Hoch."

    she would not say her last name. she kept spelling it. i thought that was odd as it's not a difficult name to spell or pronounce...or so i thought.

    eventually i told her that i was just curious as to what the correct pronunciation is. was it hoch or hOch (different emphasis on the "o".)

    after a slight pause she finally tells me the correct pronunciation is......."Ho." :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    i moved right along to our next topic of discussion.... :lol:
