New Browns linebacker Quentin Groves was arrested last week on charges of solicitation after being caught in a sting run by the Orange and Beachwood police along with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department, Scene has learned.
On April 17, according to the police report, Groves arrived at Room 231 of the Homestead Guest Studios. He had responded to an ad and requested "full service" from an officer posing as a prostitute offering sex for hire, according to records. A price was agreed upon during the call before he arrived.
From the police report: "He agreed to one hour of time for 100.00 and was told that anal would be an additional 20.00."
His court date is May 10.
$195.70 and a box of Magnum condoms were seized as evidence.
Let's Go Browns! Lets Go Browns!
Only $20 more for anal? What a steal. He does play for the Browns after all.
and your new owner just had his corporate offices raided by the FBI and the IRS for not paying contractual rebates to trucking companies for fuel. to the tune of tens of millions of dollars!!

Local news is being flooded with Cowboys fans calling/e-mailing/tweeting about the "debacle" that is their draft. I haven't been following the draft, I don't really start following until after pre-season, but you'd think Jerry traded a #1 pick for a bag of medical waste the way they're carrying on.

OK, never mind, it doesn't ever get old. But seriously... what the fuck? It looks like he's looking straight ahead at that dude's ass from the time he starts running until the hilarious conclusion. It's not like he was looking the other way, it's like he stood there and decided he was going to plow straight into that mountainous ass. Has Sanchez ever addressed this, say what happened? I just don't understand it.

Thats because Cowboy fans dont know anything about football.

The draft started slow but I think they finished strong, drafted a possible Miles Austin replacement, Demarco Murray's backup, a safety which they needed. Not sure about the TE in the second round, doesn't block, so I'll assume they feel they can coach him up, but at 6'5" with great hands he sure does give Romo a big target in the red zone, I questioned trading down to draft an OL at 31 when he was rated at 70, but the OL was a big need...I guess its a wait and see with any draft.

Yes, someone mentioned it here a while back so I recorded it and watched it. It was excellent. I knew Elway held out but I had no how bad it was and how good of a baseball player he was. Also didnt realize there was such drama with Marino during the draft.
Christ it's been two days and ESPN is still holding a candle light vigil for Tebow. What a shock he sucks and he was cut oh i'm surprised. I love the jackasses making up stats now oh he had the best QBR in the last five minutes of the game in the league. Who gives a shit.
I have never in my life in any sport seen so much attention paid to a backup player. I get it he was great in college well so was Troy Smith, Matt Leinart, Vince Young, Colt McCoy and countless others. Yet the media doesn't have a hard on for them.
And no I don't hate Tebow the man. From what I hear he is fine young man with a good head on his shoulders. I hate Tebow the Quarterback who can't play in the NFL as a QB. Is it his fault he is this popular no but this is the career he wanted to have so he has to deal with it.
Either become a TE or get the hell out of the league.

i now understand why my grandfather and dad HATED elway back then. totally understand why he did what he did but, in that old footage, he just came off as somewhat of a punk to me. stupid smirk on his face all the time.
also, being reminded that my eagles took michael haddix with the 9th pick wasn't something i enjoyed watching. apparently he's the nfl's all time leader for fewest yards per carry with 500 attempts. i believe i got his autograph at training camp when i was like 8. :fp:

Somewhat of a punk? He came off way, way worse than Lebron did during his "decision". If Elway ever pulled that shit today, he'd be the most hated guy in sports. But back then, once it's over, it's over. Nowadays, it would be rehashed for years.
Eli Manning on the other hand, while he did the same exact thing, didn't come off as badly because he seemed like a simpleton going along with whatever dad wanted. Elway came off like a guy that thought his shit didn't stink. I loved the part where Terry Bradshaw was shit-talking him. You think Bradshaw wanted to go to freezing cold Pittsburgh to play for the shitty Steelers in 1970?

I was surprised by Jim Kelly. I had no idea about his story. The NFL was different back then. No free agency. Players were at the mercy of the club completely. For that reason I understand why these guys didnt want to come to certain places. Plus there was a lot less parody in the league back then, due to lack of free agency I think. I remember growing up that NOBODY wanted to come here to Green Bay. GB and Tampa Bay were the death sentence for players. How things have changed.

I was living in San Diego at the time, and the Charger's ownership basically followed the script of Major League so they could break the stadium lease and move to LA a few years prior, but Drew Brees and L.T. fucked everything up by being good. I don't blame him for not wanting to come.
But to give up living in the land of Fish Tacos is kind of nuts. (i must be nuts too)

nope just the $$$ is unbelievably ridiculous...now, if it keeps him off my tv during commercials then it's awesome
Yes, signing the best player in the league to an extension is a terrible move. :fp:

Wow didn't take long for that train wreck to happen. Makes you wonder if 31 other teams saw his me first attitude?
Couldn't happen to a better team and coach more specifically. The #1 pick? hes been riding in the car with the Honeybadger with the windows up.
I wouldn't mind to ride in that car.
SHOTGUN!
Is that an open roof? Hot has hell in Atlanta. Or is it just transparent to let light in?
