  • I thought I posted my predictions...

    Eagles vs Niners
    Texans vs Chiefs

Eagles and Texans in the Superb Owl.

Could very well be a repeat though...

Bengals over Lions in Superb Owl.
Ravens go 16-1 and lose in playoff opener 44-3 when they run the ball twice and Lamar throws 57 passes including 6 picks.
Pats, Giants and Panthers all finish 3-14 and play "rock, paper scissors, lizard, Spock" for the #1 pick. After 69 rounds where all 3 teams pick Spock, #1 pick is awarded to Cleveland.
Commanders win NFC east when Cowboys and Eagles both implode due to internal team strife.
    Trevor Lawrence gets a haircut.
Tua retires after 2 concussions in first 4 weeks.
Andy Reid finally gets Mahomes' nuggies.

Looks like I nailed this one.
Dude needs to call it quits before permanent damage is done.

They'd owe him an additional $125 Mil guaranteed if he retired due to injury on top of the $42 Mil signing bonus he just got (though they could try and go after recouping some of that bonus if they want to be dicks).

Miami can't beat Buffalo. I think Tua is like 1-7 in his career against them. Buffalo is 12-3 or something like that in the past 6 seasons or so agsinst Miami.

So Tua took Ju Jitzu to practice the way he falls, but still has the lack of common sense to thrust head first into Damar Hamlin's lap?  If that isn't a sign to retire, I don't know what the hell is.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.
  • Fun early window, even though the team I root for lost.  Some great games and a lot of favored teams shit the bed.

  • So...
    Garner Minshew wins.
    Geno Smith wins
    Baker Mayfield wins.
    Sam Darnold won
    Derek Carr won

    These were my eye openers...

That KC/Bengals game was a heartbreaker.  Bengals had it won and then a bonehead 4 and 16 penalty gives KC the green light.  Uhg...

I already have minshew on my fantasy team and I’m trying to dump stafford to pick up carr. who’da thunk it? stafford’s #1 and #2 WR’s are now hurt.

    mayfield’s success doesn’t surprise me.

For me, I could care less how controversial it could be.  A win against the Bengals is huge.

I don't think it was controversial at all.  It was a bonehead play.

That was an accurate PI call. The defender clearly impeded the receiver from making the catch.  Unlike the "holding" about 20 months back.

I'm convinced this is the most continuous rivalry in the NFL right now.  There is probably another one or two I'm overlooking, but these two teams give each other hell and genuinely despise one another.  I am finding a lot of humor in Ja'Marr Chase's brain breaking at least once every time they play.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.
