good god…trevor lawrence…good work if you can get it.
Lawrence is fourth all time in Jaguars history in passing yards (11,770) and passing touchdowns (58) and is 21-31 as a starter (including playoffs)

with his half a billion contract, I won’t be starting any go fund me’s for him.
some of these other teams are just fucking desperate. I do think lawrence has a much higher ceiling than the jim carrey lookalike.

Yep. A comparison of Sunshine Bass' first 48 starts to Danieel Jones is kind of disingenuous when you consider the Urban Meyer factor. Lawrence has improved steadily and the team around him is getting better little by little.

Lots of QBs play for bad coaches. And Trevor has pretty good weapons around him. To me it just shows how valuable the GMs think mediocre qbs are worth.

What gets me is you have some pundits making un-educated comments (I'm looking at you Richard Sherman), that his contract was a mistake. The apy is so misleading given how his guaranteed money will never go below $100M if the Chiefs try to cut him until his last season, which he'll never make it to because there will inevitably be a reworking of his contract in the near future. Plus his contact allows the team to free up cap space if they want to move money from under the cap into a roster bonus if there is a season they feel the need to mortgage the future for a larger name free agent. Granted that just makes the cap hits down the road larger, but it's worked out well for both sides so far.

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

Those rookie year numbers skew him into Danny Dimes territory.
