Ha.  Arguing over it these years later.  Love it.
It's Boston and Philadelphia, it's what both fan bases do. We (and they) constantly rehash both the good and the bad. Letting things go is not in the nature of either fan base.
    This weekend we rock Portland

He had possession in the end zone and switched the ball to his other hand during the "surviving the ground" phase of the TD catch. He's got the ball secured with his right hand against his chest before his second foot lands in the end zone.

He never establish a firm grip and control with both feet inbounds.

They got it wrong, and it's ok. The title is still legit, I promise.

I LOVE that Pats fans are still salty about this, despite what they say, 6 years later.

It was clearly a catch. And, this conversation dragging out this long has allowed for another Nick Foles gif. Please enjoy:

When your team wins 6 titles in 18 years, you learn to let things go. I got over the SB42 loss when NE beat Seattle. I sure as shit ain't stewing over the SB52 loss.

It's comical this conversation started w/ an Eagles fan crying about the officiating in SB52 despite the victory. I get it... it took me several titles to get over that mindset as well.

& for the record, the NE fans who ARE still salty over 52 are pissed at Belichick for benching Butler,, not the officials or anyone else.

I'm not one of them. I'm a glass half full guy, and I focus on the titles they won, not the titles they lost.

I meant it when I wished Philly luck next week. I'm rooting for the Eagles.

I don't have the hatred for Philly teams that a lot of Boston fans do. I love the city, and have had great road trips there for concerts and ball games at Citizens Bank... I have a soft spot for you degenerate bastards and your city.

None of that changes the fact that the officials got the Clement call wrong tho.  :D

You want to talk still salty about Eagles/Pats Super Bowls?

I'm still salty nearly 2 decades later that Rodney Harrison decided to do the smart thing by taking a knee instead of taking the clear path to the end zone on this play:

    https://youtu.be/imvCjWXjpNc

Was partners in a $100 square with the numbers 1,1. If he runs it back, I hit for $1,250.00.

In case anyone still didn't think the Pro Bowl was a complete joke.
Tyler Huntley is a pro bowl QB this year.

    Cleveland boys.. love 'em.

Buckeyes missed out on them, letting them go to Cincy.

Best brother combo since Clay and Bruce Matthews?

Would be a mistake. I think he's cooked.

Although Purdy being out until training camp really makes things interesting for them...

I've always felt Sean Payton was overrated and a bit of a turd. But Denver seems like the best fit.

I think Brady could win a Super Bowl with this Niners team next year. He had to lead the league in pass attempts this year because his offense was so inept. In the Niners offense, with all types of underneath options with McCaffrey and Deebo, I think he could be great.

I believe in this so much, that if Brady signs with the Niners, I’ll shoot ya a PM and we’ll make a small wager on something Niners-related. Don’t think about it now. You have a lot on your plate with the Eagles in the Super Bowl. You worry about that. I’ll monitor Tom.

You could be right, especially with how they run their offense. They did come to within 2 games of winning the whole thing with Brock Purdy.

But I don't think he comes back next year and, if he does, I would be surprised if he makes it through the season. He will be 46 in August. I think people just take for granted that he's played this long and assume that he will just continue to keep going and going and going. At some point his body is going to say "enough already."

Would be happy to receive the PM and have yet something else to bet on next year though!

I don't like Tom Gravy.  I like Wroggers even less. Although he would make more sense.

Agree on SP, thank FSM we don't have to see him in studio any longer.  He is brutally bad.
The love he receives is the love that is saved

Too soon to say that.  The Kelces have at least one HOF in there.

The Matthew's are one HOF (Bruce). Clay played 19 seasons,, 4x pro bowl,  third all time in tackles and Browns ring of honor (which is no joke).

Brady on this Niners team would instantly become the Super Bowl favorite.
