Should Josh Allen be in the MVP discussion?  Dude's having an excellent year and a bit under the radar.

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

He should be in the 'conversation' (Wilson probably running away with it a bit), but he had a rough stretch of games.  He has thrown for 19 TDs, and also rushed for as many as Kamara, Elliott, and Jones.  If they can have a similar performance next week and out-gun the Cardinals, I think Allen will be mentioned as one of the candidates (but right now its Wilson's to lose)

I have always been anti-building an indoor stadium in Buffalo, but man this offense could use that.

I’d have Mahomes in front of Wilson at this point. Wilson’s been shaky (for him anyway) as of late with some turnovers. Mahomes only has one INT.

Yeah over the last 2 weeks, especially this week I'd say Mahomes has passed Wilson for front runner status.
Wilson turned the ball over 4 times yesterday.
His 28 TD to 8 INT ratio is good, but pales in comparison to Mahomes' 25 TD to 1 measly INT ratio.
As for Allen, definitely in the discussion. Would be top 5 finisher for sure right now, maybe top 3. Rodgers is in the conversation as well.
Still a half season to go, but if voting today its Kermit hands down.

I just think Wilson has the 'veteran nice guy who has never won it' strongly in his corner.
  • When I think about it, Wilson is carrying the Seahawks more than Mahomes is carrying the Chiefs.  However, if you asked me for my absolute homer of an opinion, Mahomes is having the better season.  Still a lot of games left to go.

there is something about Wilson that bothers me as well. I can't put my finger on it. he's never acted out, never seemed like a jerk...just something about him is off putting to me. hard to explain.

Sucks for Alex Smith. Had a good game only to lose it in the final seconds. Just like an Eli loss

After that performance, makes you wonder why Kyle Allen was starting over him.  He put up a career high in passing yardage with one of the worst collection of skill position players in the league.  Really glad to see him play this way.

  • The Dolphins are good. Love the job Flores is doing. Finally a Belichick-staff guy that might have learned a thing or two from Bill.

Yeah it was. Cost me a bet but helped out my team in the standings. So I’ll take it.

That was very Flutie-esque.  Now with Seattle coming back to the pack, the NFC West is wide open.  Too bad the 49ers can't stay healthy, otherwise you may have 4 playoff teams out of that division.

It doesn't, but Tony Romo had a similar injury in 2011 and didn't miss any time. Now, Romo was 31 at the time and Brees is 41 now, so that's a big difference. And I think it was only one rib for Romo and it's multiple ribs for Brees. So we'll see.

I had flipped it on after he was out of the game and they showed him on the sidelines and he looked white as a ghost. I thought maybe he had a concussion.  Collapsed lung and multiple rib fractures has to be painful as shit even to just breathe.  Hope that isn't how his career ends.
