That shit was hilarious. I read that at work earlier and was laughing hysterically at my desk. Pretty sure my co-workers think I'm insane.

UH OH --> per Adam Schefter this morning:
NFL investigating why Mario Williams, who landed $50 million in guaranteed money, publicly has complained about his wrist as recently as this week, yet still is not on Buffalo’s injury report. The Bills said Williams has not missed any practice reps and there never was a doubt he would play in each game. Yet the NFL’s injury report policy reads as follows: “All players with significant or noteworthy injuries must be listed on the report, even if the player takes all the reps in practice, and even if the team is certain that he will play in the upcoming game. This is especially true of key players and those players whose injuries have been covered extensively by the media. … This policy is of paramount importance in maintaining the integrity of the NFL.”
Maybe he is just overpaid, overhyped and over-rated?

after watching the chargers get absolutely railroaded last night it's good to see that the 'real' refs are just as bad as the replacement refs were.

I swear that since katrina the saints have gotten more calls than every team in the nfl combined. esp when they're at home.

yes, I had money on SD and I'm still bitter

I'm thinking Drew Brees may be some kind of American Super Hero......
in addition to all he's done for the city and people of New Orleans and the super bowl victory...
the guy breaks Marino's astounding record
has arguable the best game of his life in Miami right after they snubbed him
breaks unitas record which was supposed to be untouchable, against his old team

Can't help but love this guy. Especially after reading his book. Very deserving

Technically yes. The defender should've at least tried to pull up. All these defenders that just lower their head and aren't seeing what they're hitting is dangerous for them. God forbid a tackler actually try to use their arms to tackle someone and wrap up. Its all heads and shoulders. A bunch of morons.

The Jets O-lineman that hit Cushing from behind should be suspended. Period. That's intent to injure. Suspend him before Cushing's MRI results come back.

tackling is a dying artform. can't practice it, and everyone wants that big knock out hit. :fp:

Aikman might have been just about spot on with his prediction of the NFL slipping in popularity in 10 years.
