You don't know a thing about the relationship Tom has with the mother of his son. From all I can see, he's been a decent father to his son. And yea, because couples don't split up or one dumps the other for someone else. And that's on a par with rape and murder. Pats fans can actually learn a lot from Yankees fans, who had to "deal with success" for almost a century. Haters are gonna hate, no need to get so defensive. In fact, I'd wager a guess that many Patriots fans are Red Sox fans, so they should know what it's like to be on the other side of this: jealous of success, "hate them cause you ain't them," etc. Some Red Sox fans seem to think that their three world titles in the past decade put them on the same level of the Yankees (Yankees fans: "Yeah, whatever"), so let's think back to pre-2004 when the Red Sox were losers and nothing more. There's nothing a Red Sox fan could say that would ever anger a Yankees fan. They would just note all their World Series wins and move on.
