And they just signed him to a multi year extension last week :fp:

Jesus, doesn't the majority of sports loving America hate that guy? I know I do, and I can't think of anybody that can stand him. I've been dodging the game b/c the next time I hear him say "theeeee rrrrrrrrraid-uhs" I'm hunting him down with a stab him in the face with a soldering iron.

I think I can hop on the train and get to Oakland Alameda Coliseum in time for the next Raiders punt attempt.

Perhaps I can get signed and do the long snapping, can't be any worse that that #50 dude who's rolled 2 and was a key contributor to the blocked punt.

    oooof.

Did the Cincinnati Bengals forget to review game film from last season on Terrance Newman before they signed him. He will get worse as the season goes on and he was not very good last night.

You know.....I was a longer snapper for an inter-mural team back in 1984....we ran the shot-gun offense.....I might have to beat you out for the job.

When I lived in San Diego, if you wanted to buy a ticket to the game against the Raiders, you had to buy tickets to three additional games.

They were trying to cut down on the stabbings in the parking lot.

Chris Berman lost his fastball years ago ... listening to him reminds me of the last year or so of watching Pat Summerall do games, just embarrassing.

another who's lost his fastball: sam rosen. that guy needs to be put in a home

yes they do. wonder how Philly will do against them next weekend

we get them on a short week...but reid's teams have always played poorly against good afc squads

    except pittsburgh

I'd love to see his records vs afc teams actually

touche. well he beat them in 2008 and then 12 years ago in 2000. they crushed us in 04. so he's 2-1 vs steelers.

however his record vs afc playoff teams? 2-14. that's not too good.

edit: he's 2-15 with the loss to the pats last year.

I need Aaron Rodgers to do well for my fantasy team, do you mind if he scores 5 TDs as long as they lose? Greg Jennings inactive tonight. I'm liking that I got CHI +6.5 in the pick em pool.

Brutal game to watch, thought the Bears were going to pull off a backdoor cover but this one is over. This is just a reminder to everyone not to overreact after the first week of the season.

I would use the word "ugly" to describe this evening's affair.....but brutal works.
