I'm going to bed. I'll watch the end of this game in the morning when I get up and there are still 6 minutes left in the 4th.

Hopefully this absolute embarrassment on national TV will get the real refs back. What a fucking joke. Roger Goodell is at about the same level as Gary Bettman at this point.

I dunno how the east coasters do it. I have enough trouble staying up for the Sunday/Monday night games in the central time zone.

unless your team is playing, you shut it off in the 4th. moving the kickoff up from 9est helped alot.

I think I might have to do that tonight, I don't think Denver is going to come back and make this one interesting.

Not to overlook the 3 Manning interceptions, but bad calls having that big of an effect on the outcome has gotta stop. Not to mention the brutal lulls in the game.

It's a funny game. Denver dropped 3 or 4 possible Ryan interceptions that could've changed the game. How slow is Michael Turner, zero lateral movement. His DUI last night was probably for driving 24 in a 55mph

sorry rob, i hate pensions....i really hate public funded pensions. private sector..ok, they can do them if they want, but public, and yeah, i know you were public, so don't take it personal....but i hate em with a passion. i'm guessing it's IL's fault since every day it seems we hear about somebody scamming they system to increase retirement benifits...not to mention, the bill that is coming due, due to underfundingn for the last 20 years. :fp:

personally I think the real refs suck too. These guys are still getting acclimated to the nfl game. give them a season and they'll be fine.

the real story should be how the commish continues to destroy his league's shitty product

I would have said bounty scandal before the appellate judge stepped in. The real refs are not always right, but the games move along quicker and there usually is not a monumental mistake. An extra timeout has been granted 3 times in the history of the league- one of those times was week 1 of replacement refs .

yeah, it hasn't been real smooth, but the rules are so dumb I can't really blame the refs. it's only been two weeks...gonna take some time for them to get comfortable.

I once saw a 'real' ref screw up the coin toss (bettis game) in OT. They are far from perfect too.

I'm just sick of hearing about it over and over and over again

    RIP indeed
Horrible news...69 - after dealing with an inoperable brain tumor for the last year and 1/2...
This man loved football - he won 40 Emmy awards for his production, writing and editing of the NFL Films - he could certainly tell a story, find a story and make you love the game.
He will most certainly be missed.
I had the chance to meet him once and express my fondness and gratitude for his work. He was as genuine and humble as they come as well as engaging. He made me feel as though what I was saying was important to him, stayed with me for a long time...
I mean, who doesn't love those Follies films? And the music? Plus he insisted to his dad Ed, that they hire John Facenda, and to make his narration sound like sad poetry...
Brilliant man & artist - glad he had the Hall of Fame moment for his Dad.
Rest in peace, indeed Mr. Sabol

I was in San Diego when management actually followed the script of Major League in hopes of moving to LA .... only to be foiled by Drew Brees.

I say move the Rams back.
