Hoyer? Dude, stop drinking BB’s protein shakes. Hoyer is no good. Even BB has dumped him already.
It only matters if Brady gets hurt and even then, name a franchise that was successful through the playoffs and won the SB with their back up QB, other than the Patriots. BB could bring Vince Wilfork out of retirement and put him at QB and win.

Sooo what you're saying...is that Tom Brady is a system QB?
Montana to Rice will never be touched as greatest combo. Gronk/Brady is the greatest QB/TE combo.
It'll be a good debate when all is said and done.
Agreed. Problem with Gronk is he can’t stay healthy. Different positions, but judging them purely on receiving Gronk would need to average almost 2000 receiving yards for the next 7 seasons to catch Rice. People forget now how impressive Rice’s almost 23000 receiving yards is. Rice still today has 7000 more receiving yards than anyone else. He is the greatest player in NFL history. Reason I say no one will touch him and Montana is Montana is one of the top 2 QB’s ever. Purely as receiving combos we will never see another Rice involved with anyone. Fitz in AZ was supposed to challenge Rice’s numbers. Fitz is a 1st ballot HOF guy and can’t get close to Rice.
If Fitz plays until he's 40. He might have a chance.

Fitz only signed a 1 year extension for next season and has contimplated retirement for a couple seasons. Even if he did play until 40 he would have to average 1000 yards every season to have a chance.

Giants and Frank Reich? Wasn’t BB on that staff as well.
Hoyer would be better for Pats than he was for others but no way Pats could win a SB with him. 1 and out in the playoffs with him.

He's played with some bad qbs. Looking at the year he was drafted and Oak passed him with the 2nd pick.

Is “system” a bad word? Is that some kind of knock on TB? Who cares, he’s got 5 rings and working on a 6th. Does he go into the “system” HOF?
Plunket was the backup for the Raiders when they won it in 1980.
Wow! 3 in 37 years! Teams count on their backups a lot. Who fucking cares is my point. Like I said, the Patriots are fine.
Warner was the backup for the Rams SB win. 9 QB’s that started as the backup during the season won a SB. Almost 20% of SB’s had a backup win. There is this wonderful thing called the internet. Use it so you don’t make silly arguments.

I could give a rats ass. The pats don’t have a backup QB that somehow meets everyone’s criteria. BB could give two shits. Pats just became first team in NFL history to have 8 straight 12+ win seasons. They’re on their way to a 6th super bowl with Tom at the helm. Jimmy who? Brisset who? Hoyer who? I’m sure there were others but I can’t remember them so instrumental they were.
if the panthers were to meet the cheatriots in the SB, I’d root for NE.

49ers couldn’t even beat Colts before Jimmy showed up. Jags are not as good as their record but this is a great win for the team. Jimmy will get his 150mil this offseason. 49ers beat Brady in next years SB and dance on Brady’s grave.

So you think TB will be the Pats QB forever? Enjoy it now. Because BB was definitely making a statement against Kraft by trading away their future for nothing.

No, nothing lasts forever. I fully expect the patriots to return to their pre-BB days of 4-12 and 2-14 seasons, season after season. I do know that BBs and TBs accomplishments will stand for a very long time. I’m good with it all.

Who gives a shit after you win 5-7 championships. The Pats dynasty will have had the greatest run in the history of professional sports. One of the many reasons they've been able to do it is because their attention is always focused on the present moment. They're not stuck in a future fantasy dreamland like most.

^^^^Jordan’s Bulls were a better run. They won 6 while never losing in the finals. Pats have had greatest run in FB history. I would agree to that. 49ers run wasn’t too far behind as they did it with 2 QB’s. They dumped Montana for Young at the right time while Pats couldn’t do it for Brady. Unless Pats win a couple more or keep winning with a new QB it isn’t as impressive to me. Still greatest, but not by much.

not sure why the Texans didn't run the ball at least once when they were on the 2 yard line?
