The refs in the NFL have been horrendous for the past 3 years. It's almost like they are relying too heavily on instant replay to bail them out. Then you get a play that is not can't be reviewed, you have a huge fuck up (like last night). It seems like the refs are not paying attention.

And to top it off, even when they do use replay, they still get the call wrong. It's really unbelievable. I have been a huge supporter of replay, but it's getting to the point where the refs are deciding too many games.

The NFL would benefit from having full time officials. They are the only professional sports league in North America whose officials have other full-time jobs and work games on the side.

Mexico full of class when US national anthem played. Respect was paid.

For the record, I thought it was weird to place the large man configured US flag in the middle of the Mexico stadium and sing the national anthem. I'm wondering why they didn't have a US and Mexico flag side by side and sing both anthems (they likely did sing the Mexican national anthem... I just didn't see it because the network never showed it- disrespectful).

That's a nice change. I remember a US v. Mexico soccer game several years ago, and the Mexican fans in Estadio Jalisco chanted Osama, Osama, Osama during our anthem. They still routinely boo. I don't have much respect for Mexican soccer fans, but I'm glad to hear that the reception was more respectful for American Football. Probably because they didn't have any skin in the game.

LA people whining that team's issues are a 'St.Louis thing'? Pffft. Typical west coast doesn't know anything exists east of Vegas. This team has SUCKED for 20 years, now they live and play in LA.

6-6 Colts tied for 1st place in AFC South!

They shall spare mercy to the viewing public with keeping the Texans out of the playoffs and go on to beat Kansas City in heartbreaking fashion before losing to the Pats by 37.

At least Ryan Fitzpatrick seems smart enough that he is probably saving and investing the $12M he made this season.

Different spin on the playoffs, if you threw the Jets, 49ers, Bears and Jags into a playoff type scenario on a neutral field who would walk away the victor? I would say the Jags as at least they can play some defense.
