Tom Brady: Suspected of being "generally aware" of air being let out of footballs that science has proven was likely caused by atmospheric conditions; 4 game suspension.
Sheldon Richardson: Arrested for evading police & resisting arrest in a high speed chase in Missouri, reaching speeds of 143 MPH with a loaded gun, a 12 year old child and the scent of marijuana in the car; 1 game suspension.
Roger Goodell: Fair and even handed.
Unfortunately this is what happens when you challenge the dictator. This will some day come back to haunt him. Patriots will go 2-2 during Brady's unwelcomed vacation.

Pats go 12-4 with Garopolo going 2-2 in Tom's absence, win their division and the AFC Championship.
Highly unlikely that they go 2-2 with Jimmy.
Garap the attack is a capable qb. There's a reason bill has kept him around. And it's not steroids, play books, VHS tapes or deflated footballs. It's mesmerization.
ESPN is reporting that mesmerization has been banned by the NFL. Jonathan Kraft is quoted as being very interested in a trade for a qb explaining that the first four games of the season are crucial to their long term success. He reportedly said all options are on the table before walking away and refusing to answer any further questions. Tom Brady meanwhile was quoted as saying, mmmmmmmm, Geisel. Back to you Larry.
I'm predicting as the season draws closer around Labor Day, NFL will lower suspension to 2 Games Reason: To make the league look good. And ratings Also Week 3 Houston @ New England - Primetime Thursday night. NFL knows no 1 wants to see Osweiler vs Garrapolo NE opens @ Arizona -ALSO Primetime Sept 11....Pats are then HOME to Fish It does no one any good to bring Brady back in Week 5- @ Cleveland/ Regional telecast They will want JJ Watt vs. Brady...plus Osweiler beat Pats last year with Brady........ Tom deciding to drop suit means NFL won, they will cave and NBC needs them to

^^^^Well, i don't think he should've been suspended (and i'm not a Pats fan). From what i read teams have been fined fucking with the ball. $25,000 , i think. But, who knows with the NFL.

don't see that happening since the NFLPA it still saying they are going to try continue the case and Kraft continues to rip the NFL. and NFL doesn't need Tom Brady for ratings. they are already the highest rated show every week.
I'm surprised the NFL didn't schedule a Pats vs Colts game this year
They don't just "schedule" games like that. Each team plays their division rivals twice (6 games), one entire division in their conference (4 games) and one division in the other conference (4 games). That's a total of 14 games. The other two games are determined by where you placed in your division. New England came in first place in their division (like fucking always), and they're playing the entire AFC North, so they'll play their other two AFC games against the first place teams in the two AFC divisions they're not playing (Texans from the AFC South and Broncos from the AFC West).
The fact the Patriots and Colts played each other so often for so many years is purely coincidental. It was never scheduled to capitalize on the Brady/Manning stuff or anything like that. But for the most part, both teams would come in first in their divisions so they'd play each other. But there were also occasions when both teams didn't come in first and still played. In 2008 for example, the Patriots were second in their division, and the Colts were first....but they played each other in 2009 because their divisions played each other.
Still doesn't make sense that the Dolphins didn't go to the AFC South ...
That was to preserve long time rivalries, kind of like the way Dallas doesn't make geographic sense being in the NFC east and when the league re-aligned would have made sense to move them and have someone like maybe Carolina go to the east, but no way the NFL is eliminating a rivalry like Redskins-Cowboys (or Eagles-Cowboys & Giants-Cowboys).
At least with the Rams moving back to LA, the divisions look pretty logical from a geographic sense with the exception of Dallas and maybe Indy & Miami.

No way the suspension gets reduced unless Roger Goodell gets hit by a bus.

I guess it worked out for the Colts as the rest of the AFC South has historically sucked. The Titans were good for a while. The Jags have had a few good seasons (damn you Jones-Drew) but for the most part are bottom feeders, and the Texans just can't turn the corner when it seems like they might become contenders.

I complete understand this...but have always felt it was unfair to Miami and Dallas as far as travel goes. Dallas has to fly about 1,500 miles three times a year to play Washington, New York, and Philadelphia. Those three teams only have to make that trip once. Otherwise, they're just within four hours (driving) of each other. This goes the same for Miami as the Pats, Bills, and Jets are all relatively close to each other.
And remember when the Arizona Cardinals used to be in the NFC East? Weird.

Why would you take buffalo out of the East (along with NE and the NYJ) and put Detroit (an NFC team) and Cindy in the east? Doesn't make any sense
will myself to find a home, a home within myself we will find a way, we will find our place
They are also much farther north than them. The others are still in eastern United States. Suppose I call the East divisions in both conferences Mid-Atlantic instead? My goal was to get Miami out of a division with northeastern teams and into the south, Dallas out of the east, Indianapolis out of the south, as well as putting 4 teams geographically close together in all 8 divisions. Take a map, take 8 different color markers, and dot the map as I have it laid out. It's not perfect but it's certainly better than the current alignment. I didn't really have to swap New Orleans & Houston or San Diego & Seattle, either, but thought it was fun to mix it up a bit.

I just don't like the idea of teams switching conferences just for geographical purposes. It sounds like you just want Miami to be in an easier division. They are going to suck in any division. But the easiest way to do it would be to switch Miami with Baltimore. Then switch Miami with maybe Indy or Tennessee.
