He's ruined the NFL. Day one of the draft on saturday used to be one of the best days of the year. Sixers/Flyers playoff games, draft, phils all on same day. me and my buddies used to make it an all day debacle.

Yeah, that Saturday used to be one of the best sports days of the year w/ the draft, NHL/NBA playoffs and MLB going on. Not too crazy about Goodell either...the guy is such a fucking hypocrite. So concerned about concussions and all that yet he was all about adding more games to the schedule.

Love the picks. Chandler Jones and now Dont'a Hightower. Pass rush pass rush pass rush. Part of me wanted the Pats to take that safety from ND to shore up a suspect secondary, but our pass rush is gonna be a beast now. Finally.

Moving the draft to primetime was a smart business decision by a smart businessman, who just happens to be a douchebag

You do realize they are talking to the team that just drafted them, right?

  • That was a fun first round. For the life of me I can't figure out why Cleveland gave up picks and traded up just 1 slot to grab Richardson? Its not like Minnesota was going to take him!

My theory is that they were concerned another team was going to trade-up ahead of them.

Not sure, But I am pleased that they did. Also happy that the Bengals, Bears, Browns, etc all made the picks they did to let DeCastro fall to the Steelers.

Yes i did thanks....just looks lame having a guy sit there for 10 minutes on his phone while everyone else stands around clapping .....maybe the NFL should actually have a person/representative from their team greet them on stage? Certainly would take away the ackwardness of Poppa Bear Goodell embracing each kid like he was a long-lost child and trying to be their best friend with stupid handshakes (Ingram)

The reason why they did it is they were afraid of Tampa bay trading up to draft him as there were strong rumblings the bucs wanted Richardson
