Leaving to go camping at the beach today.
    Back on friday morning.

Don't let it fall to pot around here without me.
    :D:D:D
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

Packing for a trip to NYC calls for a bottle of Malbec. God, I love summer and dammit it all to hell that school starts back in 2 weeks!
Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

It does go so fast... I remember!

Ugh- Lounge car is off limits to me today. I'm in the Infirmary Car. Went to work this AM, got hit with a bad case of inner ear induced vertigo, drove home in a blur, puked, went to bed. :( Yuk !

Thanks, Hedonist. I was just barely able to drive home safely.. Vertigo is hell- it makes my hearing issues look like a picnic. I wish I knew of a cure. Appreciate any advice on this from anyone. Thanks.

Feel better - vertigo sucks! Have you tried acupuncture? I've heard some people have success with that.

Hey, thanks everybody! We took a couple of days off and went camping. No campfires due to fire season out here but one good hike, some nice scenery and a few margaritas and all is well.

I'll have to catch up on the latest here on the train. :D

In about three hours, I look forward to decompressing in the (cool - thank you, AC) comfort of home with my sweetie, where we shall be enjoying a fair amount this -

A couple of these (minus the outfit; I'd never do it to ours, although I find dressed-up cats friggin hilarious) -

With some of this for me -

...and quite possibly a large dose of this.

PS, redrock - hope you feel better! Peppermint or chamomile always helps me with tummy issues; and if you have access to (red)rock candy - ha! - it really soothes.

    It was...is ;)

And you would appreciate this - after emerging from a lovely weekend-morning shower, I was greeted through the bathroom door with "PRYING OPEN MY THIRD EYE".

    Then Maynard's Dick.

    This Saturday rocks so far.

And when you reach mid-life (remember, 60 is the new 40!) enjoy the aches and pains remembering that they were well earned as a result of your youth.

    ohhhh, we're the Tylenol...?
