I know this isn't the song thread, but it takes place on a train I'd like to have ridden - even to be on now.

A seemingly-peaceful car, a beloved song, I adore Tom, and miss the hell outta George and Roy.

These men, all of them, made such great music together. Good shit, I say!

(Jeanwah, it is indeed happy hour! :P )

That and the fact that I finally got a copy of Lost Dogs and played it today and realized where the title for this section of the forum, "A Moving Train" comes from. I know, it took me a a long ways down the line to catch up... ...

    Glad for your smiles, sir!

And I hear ya on the Moving Train thing - we're all late-bloomers in some way, I think ;)

Now I've got a hankering to listen to Lost Dogs as well - Driftin and Strangest Tribe seem to fit me on this lovely cusp of a long weekend.

    Enjoy yours!

    Well, Ed...since you asked.

I am, yes - though not numb, I'm comfortable...my back's been crying out but the (self)meds are beginning to work their glorious wonders.

And now, I thank you for the stellar song suggestion.

Live 8 performance, here I come!

  • I need a drink. I just read Dick Cheney lobbying for same sex marriage in MD touting himself as a Log Cabin Republican. Oh, John Boehner wants to push for green energy.
