I got my cheesehead hat on :D
Sure! You see the, cool thing about the PJ AMT Lounge is that the big screen is what you make it. Football fans can have the game on while someone else is watching Immagine in Cornice while someone else is watching Colombo while someone else is sitting in a quite, dimly lit corner, Fedora tilted low over eyes, sipping a cognac while watching the distant lights of Winnemucca slowly approaching to the soporific click, clack, click, clack of wheels against rails.

I sleep like a baby on a train. Love sleeper trains. Loved it when I crossed Australia. Must do trans-siberian, trans-everything!

Could do with a strong coffee now. Serving?

I like this car. It's peaceful. Looking out the windows, I don't see any reason to leave and investigate the others.

    Time to focus inward.

    Later.

I was just strolling through another car on the Train and suddenly felt a strong compelling urge to sit here a chill for awhile.

It's pretty early yet-- carrot juice please.

    I was actually thinking drink-wise.

Sadly, it will have to be non-alcoholic....

I don't know, Chadwick my friend. That might be a little over the top!

Jeanwah, have you tried deep breathing and yoga as you've suggested before? I hate to admit this, but what usually works for me is extra- strength ibuprofen or in absolute worst-case-scenario, diazepam.

p.s. Hope you're feeling better soon!

    Hi, all.

Good place to get one's feet wet in this place.

It's a melancholy afternoon here...soon to head home and partake of ol' green myself.

Jeanwah, do you mean alcoholic drink or otherwise? Caffeine is usually a good ticket when headaches hit me - or green tea, just for the soothing aspect...otherwise, I say a nice smooth Scotch.

    (maybe two)

    I was thinking alcohol.

I just had green tea, did some yoga earlier, and I can't take ibuprofen! Hmm, maybe I'll go to the dining car for some ice cream, sometimes that cures my headaches...

Maybe a little Baileys or Kahlua poured over that ice cream will help!

I've found the best ol' green is now white ... what's up with that
not that I am complaining mind you :D

we have had the most horrible headaches here... is that barometric pressure?
viral? this weird winter? We are not accustomed to headaches.

I have found if you can though ... a cold compress over the eyes and forehead
in a prone position with as much pleasant imagery as you can muster...
for at least 20 minutes, can work. I believe the entire body gets inflamed
and ones head wants to blow up ...
inflammation such a problem these days.

Actually, we recently got this kickass blueberry goodness...sweet to the taste AND to the mind!

I do think the weather plays a part as well.

We've been up since 6ish - saw the sun come up (and watched the weather change) 8-)
