brian someone condescendingly called me a lady... i need a drink... make it a double please... aah heck just leave the bottle. 8-)

Hey, it happens to the best of us. I was in the grocery store once and a clerk came up from behind me and said, "Do you need help finding anything, ma'am." I turned around and he got very flustered and I'm pretty sure I turned red.

A bottle eh? Top shelf, I presume!

Ha. I worked at Subway during a summer in college and asked a customer "what sandwich would you like sir?" It was a lady. There was nothing I could say at that point to backtrack. Awkward!

I imagine that can be tough sometimes! I mean, what do you say? HEY YOU?

Full car this morning (well... morning for me)!

At this time of the day, it will be a very strong coffee for me, please.

When I was young, one of my grandmother's told me I would never be a 'lady'.... My sister would though - she was prim and proper!

Enjoying some good French Roast in another time zone right now! :D

Does an androgynous double espresso count?

I'm sick which pisses me off because I can't have a glass of wine to kick off my holiday. But I'm tired of hearing about guns so I think I'll stay here and enjoy my herbal tea with you fine folks :D
Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

Need peppermint or ginger tea myself. Probably one too many mince pies with extra thick brandy cream. Have to learn to pace myself with those!

Yeah, it's great! The 7" vinyl is VERY cool. Not all that long ago it was easy to find but maybe not so anymore. Of course CD or download are easy to find. The description is this: "Jimi Hendrix, bassist Billy Cox, and drummer Buddy Miles have fun with this medley of holiday favorites to celebrate both Christmas and the dawning of a new decade in 1969."

I think my husband and I are going to have an interesting time listening to Christmas music/songs. Daughter really got into Todd Kerns (plays with Slash) and his band Sin City Sinners. They have a Christmas album....

Anyway... rhum and coke will do nicely right now!

Hope you are all relaxing nicely!
