Thanks, bud. I imagine this will be a somber night...hopefully with some distractions, and definitely with loving on those closest to us. Too many unable to do the same.

Is it too early to hit the lounge? I'm definitely in need of becoming comfortably numb right about now :(
Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

    With ya, riotgrl.

Comfortably numb, and fortunately, comforted by who and what are around me.

    Been counting my blessings.

Question: I have to work a few hours today on my day off. If I slip a little Bailey's in my coffee should I consider firing myself or just let it go... just this one time?

  • hedonisthedonist Posts: 24,524
You know things are rough around these parts when we're clamoring for the bar on a Monday afternoon.

I've gotta wait till the workday's over to indulge...but ohhh man, am I gonna!

    Meantime - cheers, friends.

Oh yes, there IS a smoking car.

What I like about this place is that no matter where we might part on some roads, at some point, we in some way come together.

Hope your days lighten up some - and that goes for all of us.

Hey, it happens to the best of us. I was in the grocery store once and a clerk came up from behind me and said, "Do you need help finding anything, ma'am." I turned around and he got very flustered and I'm pretty sure I turned red.

A bottle eh? Top shelf, I presume!

How's that bottle working for you, Catefrances?

Good to see you all here.

    To better days! Cherio!

Ha. I worked at Subway during a summer in college and asked a customer "what sandwich would you like sir?" It was a lady. There was nothing I could say at that point to backtrack. Awkward!
