    Yes!

And holy hell, it's only 10am on Thursday - and a gloomy, RAINY Thursday at that.

(top news in LA! )

Oh what I would give to be home in PJ's...

Is it too early for a brandy shot? Cognac, please.

My favorite - in a large snifter, of course ;)

    Missed cocktail hour here...

What's on offer for a good after dinner tipple? Could do with something!

I'll be having pumpkin pie liqueur shaken on ice. Addictive!

Another day in hell with these parents - another day of a lovely Oregon Pinot Noir :) It's almost the weekend! Currently downloading my Atlanta Midtown show - can't wait to relive some memories!
Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

    I AM MINE

Very sorry to hear that, Redrock. 20-21 is a ripe old age for a cat but still, it's never easy to let them go. Best wishes to you.

I'm so sorry, redrock. Even when you know it's the right thing to do for them, it's still so damned difficult.

    Good thoughts to you.

Watching Little Women this evening - the 1949 version with June Allyson and Peter Lawford.

It's a comforting film to me for many reasons. Plus, I aspired to be like Jo when I was a kid (well, I still do).

    She was one plucky chick.

Winter lager-- isn't that an oxymoron?:lol::lol:

But who am I to talk? It was cold and damp here last night but I had a margarita anyway. I might do the same later on...

...unless I come up with something more winter like. Any ideas for hot cocoa with something nice and strong added it?

It's fogging up again out here, so between the weather and my being in that irritating not-yet-quite-fully-sick mode (hoping to stave it off), THAT sounds dee-lish, not to mention quite helpful :P

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hope you're feeling better soon! Must be a west coast bug- I've been fighting it off and on again myself. So as the saying goes, "If you're going to feel bad, you might as well feel good".

    Cheers and get well!

And thanks, Brian! My office had quite a few folks out sick this week...definitely a bug!

    Speaking of which.....why not? :D
