Loved this era of their music.  And remember when Joe did a stint on Homicide?

You're very welcome!  They were a big part of my teen years.

And Whiter Shade is one of my favorites - I'm going to check out their version through our sound system.  Laptops just can't do some music justice.

I love Arrowsmith, this was always a stand out tune for me.  What it takes.

I've been in a big time Willie mood lately, I haven't seen a concert of his in about 20 years, but I'm going to one of his Outlaw music festivals in Noblesville Indiana.  They got a campground right across the road from the venue so I'm stoked!
The show includes Willie and Family of course, The Head and the Heart, Old Crow Medicine Show, and it says more TBA.  He's 84 years old and still touring like a 25 year old.  Yeah Whiter Shade of Pale is pretty sweet Willie and Waylon Style. B)
Off Willy's 72nd studio album, here's a good one called, Still Not Dead.

  • A great cover of an obscure Kiss song by the Melvins:

  • And to the integrity of the thread... I'm having a Cab/Shiraz (BC wine) at the moment.

Well, I assumed that the lounge car thread would be a combination of drinks, chit chat, & tunes like a happy hour.  I haven't been posting near as long as some of you.  I went back and looked at the beginning of this thread, and yeah, this thread used to be all about drinks.  And I love drinking.
So I'm going to drink some coffee and smoke a cigarrillo.

The view from my lounge chair today.
Lots of hungry birds.  It's really hard to get a good picture of birds.  If I budge the all take off.  Late spring snow storms.  Good day to lounge.

    You still got snow? Brrrrr...
I was at a party last night, the first one outside for this year and of course there was a campfire. We went home at 3am when it started to rain but it still was 12° Celsius.
Jezuz how I missed that! I'm definitely done with snow for this season. We had more than enough snow already this year!
Today I felt just bad. It maybe was a combination of my heart and the campfire smoke... getting old...

Sticking with the thread theme, here is an interesting tune I heard a long time ago and totally forgot about, until today, I heard it on obscure Madison radio station quite refreshing.  Loretta Lynn & Jack White.

Earlier I checked out the new video/song of Jeff's (dug it upon first listen), and I kept thinking he reminds me of someone.

I present Mr. Ament in about 20 years =)

This dude kicks ass, too.  Talent and humility go a long way with me.

Maybe this should be the theme song for your bookstore Bryan.  I love this band, was listening to the signs of light album today.  This song made me think of your book store.
