I'm bound for something, but not sure it's glory.

Been a sweet evening of music.

He - and that song - get me (or, I get them?).  Nice choice, kce.

Got some California Dreaming going here...and the skies are beautifully grey :)

What harmonies!  And Mama Cass kicked ass.

My musical tastes are all over the map.
I never know what I'm in the mood for until I put it on.  Once in a while I like John Anderson
    Seminole Wind

    Mississippi Moon

The Moon is quite beautiful bright tonight that made me think of this song.

Music is intimate and mood-driven, so I figure it’s all good!

Waylon fans, this is pretty interesting.  About the last recordings of Waylon Jennings.

Somehow stumbled across this dude doing a pretty crazy tribute to Dolores. Some of his other videos are crazy as well.

    Me too Hedo!
I sometimes need a bit time for his songs to get me, but then you know =)
Here's one I so love just because of his way to sound a bit crazy! That voice gives me goose bumps all the time.

In times like these, a place like the PJ community becomes even more important.

Hey Brian my Friend...you're Very Welcome. glad to hear that you're doing much better :)..ok Southern Comfort it is enjoy...Thanks Brian...Yeah listening to Eddie's voice and Music makes me Happy

Thanks for that Brian...yeah my Dad has just recently suffered a Minor Stroke so if that wasn't Scary enough he then had to have urgent Heart Surgery and By-Pass not long afterwards...even though he's made a Good recovery he's still very Fragile :frowning:

Good thoughts going out for your Dad.  I hope he makes a good recovery and regains his strength!

Thank you so much for your Kind words Brian that really means alot to me I really appreciate it and means so much too me :)

I really hope he makes a Good recovery too he's still very Fragile and lost a alot of weight but he's getting there...Naturally I keep an eye on Him often just to make sure he is ok...

Once again Thank you my Friend for your kind Words :)

Great to hear he's doing well!

Hope you're doing well also.

Thank you so much Brian :)

Hey yeah I'm going alright...considering my Dad's Health issues and other things recently...but things are looking alot more Positive and Brighter now :)

Hope you are doing well too :)

All things considered, I'm doing OK.  My wife was was down hard with a bad-ass bug a week ago and it definitely had me worried.  She's doing much better now so I can breathe a bit easier about that.  This weekend is my father's  interment and memorial which will be heavy plus I'm scheduled to play a song on my guitar for the memorial and hoping my shaky old hands don't fail me.  But then after that I'll bask in the good memories and think about how he finally gets to do the one thing he always wanted to do- fly high into the sky like a bird.

I am so sorry to hear about your Wife Brian but I am Glad she's doing much better now...those Bugs can really hit you hard...and I'm Happy that you can now Breathe easier :)

That's great to hear about this weekend Brian you'll do well my Friend and I'm sure your Dad will Love it and be smiling :)

    Thank you, my friend!

And all you good people, have a great next few days.  I'll be off line till Tuesday (say, isn't that a song, LOL)

Off we go (that one too, sorta!)

    Brian

Hey Brian...after a little bit of a Break from here because of Uni Studies...thought I just call on through...

I hope it went really well for you and your Dad and I am sure your Dad would of loved it :)

Thank you for that song Hedo, it sounds so beautiful.
I've heard this for the first time and it somehow sounds so familiar that I've watched it on Youtube. I really thought it was a cover. Love the way how he minimizes expressions singing these words.
After that song I watched an interview with him and his sons talking about how they grew up on tour and making music together. Very nice family he got!

Hendonist, thank you so much for that one.
I couldn't agree more with the song.
I've enjoyed Waylon and Willie and Johnny Cash since I was a kid.  And there's always more from them that I haven't heard yet.  I think Eddie should have been part of The Highwaymen.  He would've fit right in with that bunch.  Talk about a super group fantasy.
Anyway, Willie Nelson continues to be amazing I think he is 84 now and still touring.  One of my favorite Willie albums is Across the Boarderline 1992.  Covers & originals.  But the standout tune is the cover of Peter Gabriel's Don't Give Up with Sinead O'Connor.

(I could not find a video of this song without a weird video attached to it.
So never mind the video, just enjoy the song.)
