Nobody riding the lounge car these days.
Well I snagged a pair of tickets to see Fleetwood Mac.  Kind of bummed that Lindsey Buckingham isn't on board this time, but it'll be need to see Mike Campbell playing with them.  I'm unfamiliar with Neil Finn and Crowded House  Stoked anyhow.!!

  • Cheesy video. Listening to it right now on vinyl. One of the greatest songs to ever come out of the 80s:

    "My brain's a good brain!"
  • To thread integrity... a cab/Shiraz.

Well deserved. A massive mountain bike ride today. Bought the wife new patio furniture. About to grill up some chicken kabobs.

    Yah.

I have been in Peaky Blinders mood for weeks.
I know I'm late, but I first looked at it a few weeks ago and it took me back to all the great Nick Cave music. : smiley:
    The soundtrack is incredibly good!

And interesting and fun blast from the past.  This is one performer I wish I could have seen in person during his prime.

As it says within the song, Lakeside Park *everyone would gather on the 24th of May* . To celebrate the coming of summer, well today is the 24th of May and 3 years ago on that date was the very last time I saw RUSH my 50th show in Tampa. Unfortunately, my favorite rock band are retired now but their music lives on in this live version from R40 in Philly.....Lakeside Park/Anthem

It's been a long week so I dedicate this to all of us who feel like we've been lost in our minds. Saw these guys and gal on Wednesday. Love their music.

Next up on this Friday night, a Beck song I had forgotten that I recently rediscovered. Gotta groove to this one.

Last song of the night by a great acoustic guitar duo that I was lucky enough to see a few years back. They're amazing.

Three years of writing, six revisions, two major edits, two full printed proofs and one final printed cover proof.  Contract with printer signed and sent.  I think I'll have me a drink!

    Cheers!

Thanks both of you!  I'll post picture of the book and other info  when they come from the printer.  I had to mail in a signed publishing agreement so it might be a week or two.  As Tom Petty once said, "The Waiting is the Hardest Part".  Well, not really, in this case, but I am anxious!

I never listen to these guys anymore, but a YouTube spiral got me to this and I wanted to share (best band ever):
