We went from that to live Waters from Melbourne earlier this year - Mother.

    ("ahhhhhh!!" would be an understatement)

Hope you're having a beautiful weekend so far, my friend!

Assuming nothing else goes haywire in the next hour or so (our fridge had a melt down this morning- we awoke to the sound a a screaming compressor) we're hitting the road for Missoula. Being the semi-Ludite aging low tech electronics-challenged hard core environmentalist that I am (not all of the above is true  ) I won't have internet access again until 10/9 or 10/10. Whoa- it's like living at the edge of the Apocalypse, eh?

So have a good two weeks everyone. Don't kill each other here on AMT while I'm gone.

Looking forward to meeting some of you in MT. :D

Save me a seat in the Lounge Car in October. :D

    Oh yeah?

    Coach: What's new, Norm?
Norm: I need something to hold me over until my second beer.
Coach: How about a first beer?
    Norm: That'll work.

    Loved him!

Heading to a friends so I'll raise a toast to all the peeps here! It's official, it is now fall, or so says my beer which is now winter wheat. Not that I'm complaining, mind ya!
Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

Fall? Screw that. Just went swimming on an 80 degree day here in northeast. Cheers!!!

(it will be 55 on Sunday. Goodbye pool.)
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

    :lol::lol::lol: Not quite.

Truth is we nearly got stuck in snow on an unmaintained road six miles off the highway close to the continental divide at the Canadian Border. A few days later I got a bad case of vertigo and hung our rig up on some rocks about 10 miles from the tiny town of Randle, OR and spend most of the day trying to get help.

Ohhhh how nice it is to be home sipping a good Cabernet here in the Lounge Car.

Ditto that! (and change out evening for morning)

Seems shit's getting ugly in some parts around here - oh how I look forward to this next month! - so I may be taking frequent refuge in this little safe haven :D

It does sort of feel like a shirt storm clusterfuck is right around the bend. Hopefully AMT will not look like a head on collision between a Bullet Train and a Super Chief... but I'm not holding my breath. No worries though- we'll keep the Lounge Car safe and secure. Good cheer only here please. 8-)

Been home trying to deal with back pain; left work early, took a bit of pain med and more of natural meds, and then indoctrinated myself into the intensity that is Homeland. Holy hell, it's good.

(now I get what all the hoopla's about)

Thank you, TWC, for the six free months of Showtime!

Some uke sounds real nice right about now.

Sapphire and tonic tonight. Here's one to you!
