    Cheers!!

Welcome back! Glad to hear you had a great time at the show. There's nothing like a bit of an adventure getting home! :D Happy to have you safe and sound back on the car.

Sapphire and tonic tonight. Here's one to you!

Thanks, man. And hey, anyone who can drink gin and hold it down is admirable in my book!

I'm stickin' with sipping a little Yuppie Valley Red.

    Here's to you, my friend!

    It's been some kind of a day...odd.

Nice to have this evening here, now.

Ah oh- feeling a little achy in the joints, a bit of a fever coming on. Might be a Hot Toddy kind of a weekend coming up. Maybe time for a little preventative dose- time to open that bottle of Southern Comfort that's been sitting in the cupboard. 8-)

Oh that was pathetic! Who taught that cat how to jump?

Out store cat is very shy- she was a feral ally cat before coming to us. After much patience and waiting, I finally got her to jump up onto my lap. She purred a little and then looked at me like, "What the fuck I'm I doing??"

Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

Hot Toddy for cold or flu:

2 ounces whiskey (preferably Southern Comfort)
    1 tablespoon honey
4 ounces water (heat to not quite boiling)
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 slice fresh lemon (optional)

    Dissolve honey in hot water.
Gently stir in whiskey and lemon juice.
    Add slice of lemon.

Flop onto nearest sofa or easy chair. Drink and repeat as necessary.

    8-)

Thanks! Unfortunately- worse is the case at the moment. Is too early to make one of these? :|

I caught the man's cold overnight, but despite that, my sister, mom and I had one of those cleansing, healing times yesterday - let it all out.

    Burdens lifted, mostly gone.

    Feels so NICE.

Tomorrow afternoon, we're going in to apply for our marriage license (and bless my mom, she was cool with our eventual ceremony being just him and me - "as long as you're happy, that's all that matters"). She fuckin rocks.

Gonna do some kind of twist on the toddy and head to the couch.

    cheers?
