and by the way... why are we supposed to care what other people think?

WE are allowed to have our own opinions.

And you haven't really addressed by main criticism which is that the majority of Americans support marriage equality for all.

Didn't they tell the blacks in the south to just 'accept it'? Or the slaves? Or women who couldn't vote?
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

Obama is pro gay marriage, and, in my opinion, he is a fellow agnostic. He knows too damn well that if he comes out in support of gay marriage, then he will lose votes. Politics as usual.

I'm not sure any president can have any stand on any issue without half the country jumping down his or her (hey, some day, right?) throat.

Besides, I don't think we should let the president make the decision about gay marriage. I think we should let gay people make the decision about gay marriage.

It's been a while, Blux.....Why don't I make my breaks form the AMT permanent?
Anyway, I agree. For all the anti-big government fervor out there, it seems that the religious love when the government dictates who can marry whom. Or, what a woman can do with her own body.......
