i'm pretty sure i read prior to the sale from someone who has used crowdsurge that it wasn't going to be as everyone expected ... that person bought tickets for some band I hadn't heard of (not to say they weren't popular) and that he had issues ...

    Kat,
How about we start a thread where someone from the 10c actually addresses some of the comments and valid concerns that have been brought up? You know, from the people who pay good money for these services in uncertain economic times, ensuring that you all have your jobs. This silence is deafening. The lack of any concern and what now looks like acrimony from the 10c towards it's loyal fans reflects poorly not only on yourselves but on Pearl Jam as well.

I don't have information on when more information will be coming but I'm sure that it will. There isn't much I can do about people being upset about tickets. I wish everyone had all the tickets they want with no difficulty at all but my personal wishes won't make that happen. There's a lot of time before the shows and I just know/believe that all of this is going to be worked out and people will have what they need. Discussing tickets here is good but if someone has a personal issue with the Ten Club, they really should just write to them or phone them. The staff will be glad to help everyone they can help. I've created these threads so the issues you're concerned about can be in one place and more easily seen and I hope this helps everyone.
Thanks Kat... I would imagine sometimes it must feel pretty crappy having your hands tied around here, it is nice to hear a personal level of concern though :)

I promise you that even if you haven't heard it yet, there is an extreme level of concern about this. I'm sure it wasn't an easy thing to figure out what was happening and why it was happening when the ticketing procedures weren't working as they were supposed to. Then you have to figure out what to do. They pulled the plug instead of waiting to see if it would clear up so people wouldn't be more inconvenienced but they already were so it was a rock and a hard place. There were still going to be people who were extremely upset. Because of past problems they were trying hard to fix, some people don't want to give the benefit of the doubt and there we are. It's going to work out is all I know right now. It's just going to work out.

All I can tell you is that when Macca came to Toronto at the ACC, I had no queue, and a quick, reliable purchasing experience with everything going perfectly smoothly.

What's this about Alpine being hacked? Don't remember anything about that

That is what I took away from the statement, that because the Europe sale faced the same problems that the Alpine sale did that it must be sabotage.

NYC, huh? What a refreshing thought... PJ on another Northeast swing.... ugh.

20 million NE fans all bitching about their 20th show in like 5 years... sigh.

tenclub email: Given that Tuesday's pre-sale system failure mirrored that of the Ten Club ticketing failure earlier this year -- on entirely different systems, and unrelated to server capacity -- all involved now strongly believe that there has been an act of sabotage from an outside source that has prevented fans from executing their ticket purchases. CrowdSurge and Ten Club will conduct further investigation into this matter.

I started to wonder this same thing after seeing all the troubles the past few days ^^^
...but then it started to look like a joke. I actually had to go back and look at the senders email because I thought this was a bad joke. it was indeed the 10C email. Is this serious? (i'm not being a jerk, i'm asking honestly)

Honestly, if we had all received an email from Ten Club last night verbatim of what you just said here - I feel like a lot of people here would be much happier right now. If there is an extreme level of concern about this, why a sincere message the likes of what you just wrote here could not be distributed through an official email just doesn't make sense to me.

    Hi,

We want Berlin standing tickets, but they are missing from ticketing website.
Standing area is completely missing from seating map, without any sold out notice.
I guess that you can only buy seated tickets.

Could anybody please explain what happened with standing tickets?
    Are they sold out?
Were they really offered to public?

I have found them on other websites for double the price. This is shameful since there are Tenclub members (me) without any chance to obtain tickets.

Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Standing tickets were sold out about 15-30 mins after the sale started at 10 am CET.

Actually, Kat has participated a couple of times already in this thread. I completely understand everyones frustration but why doesn't everyone just chill out a little and give the 10C some time to figure all this out? Bitching about everything and demanding a "more sincere" apology is not going to change anything. Be constructive with comments instead of just calling names and calling for people to be fired. I'm sure everyone involved on there side feels absolutely terrible about all this. It's not like they want ticket sales to fail. I'm sure they wanted it to go smoothly just like all of us. RELAX.

First, i was lucky enough to score tickets for the Berlin and Amsterdam show at the crowdsurge presale! I'm not going to complain about the technical problems and the server breakdown (or whatever the problem was...) because i expected it to be like this! So far so good!
My wife Kathi, also a TC member, tried to get tickets for Berlin too. The reason is, we want to invite my sister and her partner to come to a PJ concert for the first time. I scored my tickets with my membership, she tried to get the Berlin tickets with her membership. She had the tickets in her cart but got the message that she is not able to get them because a person in the same household already bought tickets for this show!!!???

I emailed TC and hope to get a reply. How can it be that we pay 2 times $ 50 for our international memberships to have access to TC tickets but are not allowed to get them? Its the first time that i am really disappointed about the TC policy/service.

today the general sale started! We could try again to get two tickets but what if we come to the venue and the TC stuff tells us that we won't get a second pair of wristbands because we are married and have the same address.

One thing is clear: Kathi (my wife) will not renew her membership again!
