I love Srna for a long time, and I must admit the first reason for this was that he comes from Metković, like my husband. Congratulations for having the best fans of the tournament! I hear only good stories about Irish. I have a coworker from Ireland, she says Irish fans are always the best. haha

Croatia just seemed to lack that sharpness in the box tonight, nobody there to finish off the chances. Modric and Rakitic were a little disappointing too
We're all wondering what the coach was waiting for: he let Pjaca enter during the prolongation only, while our game was obviously needing freshness. I'm very sad for the team because they really deserved to go further; and I'm really sad for the people here because we really needed some football crazyness to forget about all the crap around here. And it was Srna's last tournament for the Croatian team... Number 11 will always be Darijo Srna for me. But as the song says "budi ponosan" (be proud), they did their best and have nothing to be ashamed of. I hope there will be a welcome party for the team even if they're returning home without any medal.

Because they are all independent countries, with their own parliaments, flags and identities. Northern Ireland and Wales just had the misfortune of suffering the same colonisation as your country and mine. Difference is we fought our way to full independence whereas they remained part of the old empire...
